Yes, I know my sister's hot. I doubt that's her though. It could be. She can be pretty wild and it's not too far of a fetch. She parties hearty. Or used to anyway.

*edit*

The girl you can clearly see is not my sister. But the one doing the deed just may be my sister. It's hard to tell.

One of my ancestors came over on the Mayflower, and he almost died. He went overboard. But he was saved. The family has logs on it somewhere.

I'm also related to Jesse James. He's like my fifth or sixth cousin. I saw him in our family tree a couple years ago and asked my grandfather about it. He got kinda mad and wouldn't talk to me about it. But it was later confirmed to me by my mother that indeed, he was the famous outlaw.

I dunno much about my ancestors other than Alexander Graham Bell. The funny thing is I am so mixed it turns out that I am an Irish Jewish German Indian. Jewish Nazi perhaps?

Can't say I'm related to some notable figure in particular.
That said, a cousin of mine from Mexico City once told me she was assigned a geneology school project & found out one of our ancestors, on my mother's side, rode with Hernando Cortes when he & the rest of his paella-eatin' crew overthrew the Aztecs.

Come to think of it...I DO like a good paella...

Not a direct descendant but apparently one of my grandfather's was a cousin of Lord Cardigan.

He was a bit of a blouse, to be honest.

And it involved a pun on clothes involving a military buffoon.

Does that mean that I get a lollipop or what?

My mother's side of the family is Polish, having gotten out of Poland not long before WWII started rolling. If I remember correctly, my great-grandparents met because one day at a circus my great-grandfather got smashed when the main tent pole came down.

On his head.

Afterwards he was almost entirely deaf, and met his wife-to-be at the new school for the deaf he later attended. Kinda touching.

Another member on that side of the family was a far-traveling sailor. We have a bunch of journals that he kept during the time; all done in a nice form of calligraphy with a bunch of pictures he drew. One of these days we'll get them translated and published.

My father's side of the family is more complicated. We're not terribly sure where the hell they came from, or when. From before immigrants started being routed through Ellis Island, that's all we really know for certain. My grandfather on that side was a tailgunner during WWII and is detailed in a few books on the subject.

That's about it.

Well. In very recent news (btw this is no ancestor thing, just a slightly famous thing) you might hear about and actor from Casualty that his son died in a house fire so he hung him self. He is a relative to me...kinda.
Hes my nans brothers cousin.
I'm not sure of what happened or why, and i have suspicion he deliberately made the house fire then took his own life. *shrug* It's news to me.

Sadly, I cannot find anything on either my mother's side(Irish) and my father's side(Japanese). Though I belong to Ancesroy.com, they're virtually useless in trying to trace family ancestory, unless you're of certain nationalities which is a limitied selection. And both sides of my family have ostracized me, so asking them is out. Sigh......

According to my late grandmother Sinéad O'Connor and I are 3rd cousins. On the other side of the family a close relative was in a group that had a number of chart hits during the 90's. There's also been talk of a European supermodel and a few people through history but I was told many years back and can't remember the details. I've tried to do research on both sides of my family but the only people that hold the information I'm after are either uncontactable or dead.

Unfortunately, on my father's side, there is Bruce Braun.
He was key in designing the plan for gassing the jews.

Also, Von Braun, who helped create the nuclear bomb.

My mother's side is more artistic.
Mostly pleasant icelandic folk.

My mother is from Clan McIntosh, I was going to post a link but it seems I can't. Oh well. I just learned a bunch of things like:

edit: (we have a medieval castle?! cooooool! [i do hope it's haunted!)

The other side is just this bunch of gypsies from Cataluña, since they're romani, I don't really know much about them.

My Great Grandfather on my father's side, Ernest Andrew 'Pard' Mustar'/Mustard, is a famous pilot from WW1. On serveral occasions his squadron served as Lawrence of Arabia's 'taxi'. He's got a book written about him called "D'Air Devil : The Story of 'Pard' Mustard".
