Court Hears Case of Same Sex Story Read to Kids

I think it's really pathetic of parents to sue schools just because of a book. Homosexual people are out there in the world today, why try to deny it? Children are not going to turn homosexual because they read a book. They develop their own lifestyle once they become older. It happens to all of us.

This book makes me laugh. I don't have one, though, but I did look it up on amazon. I think the world keeps getting more and more absurd with people making the biggest fuss over the smallest things. I mean, this book can be used in a good way too, by making young kids more aware of people who are different from them.

I think the book would be put to good use. It could teach tolerance of different people and show kids that not everyone in the world is the same. I think people are just making a HUGE deal out of something they don't need to.

People like to make a big deal of little things. Then they realize it was a huge stupid mistake. They are human. Big deal, so I act like an alien. [Just a metaphorical phrase]. Who cares if books talk about people who are gay to little kids?

The funny thing is, some of those kids in that class could be adopted by a single sex couple. The article also pretty much said that those who were protesting were in the minority. So I'm kinda curious why this was even given a second of attention by anyone. I mean, people protest things all the time. What makes this special?
