Arrow Lustmord

I don't know how many people know about him, but he's probably the founder of Dark Ambient.
I'm just interested in what people think about Lustmord, his music and of the genre in general.

Fucking love dark ambient.

Here's my current collection of ambient (regular and dark):

And an awsome dark ambient web radio station:

I'm not much of a big fan of ambient anything. Most dark ambient music I've heard sounds like they're coming off as pretentious or "deep".

Mm, some can be like that. I mostly find that with new-age music though, not so much with proper ambient.

Which artists have you heard?

I wish I could say. I ended up getting this "darkwave" cd once and honestly, it all sounded more ambient than darkwave, so I could be wrong.

I never keep the cd info that I get. I usually rip and burn everything, even CDs that I buy. So the jewel cases usually get discarded.

Doesn't seem very fair to knock the genre off as pretentious if you don't know if you've even listened to it.
