It was supposed to be a representation of the song "Sandstorm" by Darude.

Another picture I took. I love black and white pictures the best.

I love graveyards, because it makes me more Goth.

One of our earlier Cube strips, but one that seems somehow appropriate to the forum. Anyone who's seen That Damn T-Shirt one time too many or plays D&D will understand.

I finally got all my art back guys. I won $100 in the Portfolio Review.

I'm going to put the money into buying a new lens for my camera.

Here are five of the six picture that were in the review. They all were done at the college (except for the self portrait) and the two drawn ones were timed, in-class hour long pieces, NOT, fully completed artwork.

A lot of my art nowadays is expressionism. I use scrumble a lot (as shown in tricycle pic) and I am starting to get into abstract art. I focus less on naturalistic artwork these days than others do.

The sixth piece is my abstract one, and the college is currently taking pictures of it right now, so I'll get that back soon enough and post it.

DRAWN:

PHOTOMANIPULATION:

And the sixth one is also drawn, and is the only finished piece of the other two drawn ones from class.

I do like that photomanipulation. Puts me somewhat in mind of Escher -- all that infinite regress.

Very nice, Metatron.

I meant to ask you, did you do that picture you posted earlier? The cliff and chains one? It's very detailed and very cool either way. I love the feeling your work gives.

Yes, I was experimenting with concept art at the time, but I'm really not into it anymore. At the moment I'm doing a lot of sketching and penwork.

Penwork is a lot of fun. I did a lot of that back in high school. I loved doing pen drawings during class.

No, if I remember correctly the other side was just way too shadowy, so I cropped it that way. But yeah, I hate symmetry too. The eyes is easy for me, but everything else...

By the way, I sketched these all when I was quite happy...ironic, eh? That's just what they show...irony...of death. Just a little FYI, and I thought I'd explain myself a bit.

I actually Did it all on the computer with a mouse... for some reason I suck with tablets but I can use the mouse pretty well. I used to draw fine but I stopped for 2 years and tried to again and sucked horribly at it...

Vash (the top one) took 6 hours and

Wolfwood (the bottom one obviously) took 8.

Sometimes I get really anal with perfection when it comes to line or things that have to be completely straight so it takes me awhile...

Those are the only things I've full out drawn on the computer. Everything else has a combination of something else with it

Oh and this is a pic I decided to edit while thoughts of "The Hulk" were on my mind....

Interesting. The same thing rings true with me as well.

I've been lurking around this thread for awhile, and there has been some amazing art posted on here. I've never posted mine, as it is purely recreational...and doesn't come close to some of the artwork I've seen on here. Nevertheless, I decided to show you all a few things I've done.

Here's a pencil and charcoal...
