Yeah, its past 1am over here yet I'm still going out for food right now. Just hoping I don't cross any passed out druggies and disrobed urinating women again. Thanks for the welcoming too then.

Thanks, I just got back without any incident fortunately. And am proud to say it's been four years since my last street fight. Had two close encounters this year, but honed my "I'm a bad dude who's gonna punch you repeatedly in the face" act.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks for reminding me about The Damned. I forgot all about them... used to listen to them when they were all shiny and new.

Thank you Fruitbat, and wish I was around to remember that time additionally. Myself preferring them even over the sex pistols, personally.

My residence is in a rather nice neighborhood of Queens actually, but dorming at StonyBrook University means I get to see some rather weird nonsense after midnight. *ah, memories*

Hi from a gothic romantic

Hello all, I am unsure if I am on the right planet, however I am as I am. I am more the type of goth that likes gloomy gothic ruins, graves yards with mist and crumbling statues and the old style gothic novel. I am fairly unorthodox though and generally follow my own path in life. I don't really know anybody like me so I thought I would give this forum a whirl.

Indeed, I do look forward to some interesting trolling; and though the discussion is far less formally Gothic than expected, am thoroughly enjoying myself here regardless. Also, I hereby declare war on Mavros for usurping my own intro thread instead of creating his own. And do tell me more about you than just that, what gothic ruins, what gothic novels? Would like to here more about your favorite Goth bands as well, so I can ready my personal inquisition..
Do you listen to any Rozz Williams? This stuff is pure psychological ecstasy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhYgCTfkmKI

Looks like I misspoke.(shouldn't start a-typing 2 minutes after a long nap) But I do appreciate our casual discussions with a common appreciation for this stuff, which is preferable to the alternative "I'm so spooky" masquerades on other sites. Didn't mean to sound oblivious to that, while I actually expect the opposite, that most people here know more about Gothic Rock than myself. Myself only sharing more Rozz for the new guy, seeing as he didn't leave much info. to go on.
