It means more overall money for the country, thus slowly lowering our debt. However, I did previously say that my political views probably wouldnt impress, therefore if the next thing you say is "is that the best your "unfathomably intelligent" mind can muster?", my answer would be "until I decide to study political science, yes".

I can respect that, but not your political opinion.

Well thats why politics are discussed in as much moderation as religion is, because there is such a capacity for difference views. Things can be done a thousand different ways to accomplish the same thing, the only question people ask is how will a particular way will affect other aspects of the country, therefore they fight over the best way, in their opinion, to accomplish something.

No no, you have to admit it. Your politics suck.
This has nothing to do with us having different opinion than me; it has to do with the fact that you don't understand politics or economics.
You had already said so, though

A very trivial one at that. I respected you when you admitted you have that opinion because you don't know enough. Why can't you maintain that admission?

I am maintaining it, but I felt like you were trying to get me to say I'm retarded or something, which is of coruse going way too far. I know around about what your average american(whom pays variable attention to politics) knows, nothing more, but also nothing less.

You're right, you know about what the average american knows about politics.
But the average american is an idiot, and obscenely politically illiterate.

Religion is a value argument.
Politics (although viewed against ones own values), is more of an Empirical Argument.
You can't really compare the two.

Average americans are not idiots, they may not be "geniuses", but they dont need to amount to your level intelligence to be considered above idiocy, that is a rather pompous view.

Only if you believe that we should accept the minimum common denominator as the norm, which is precisely why the collective mind keeps slipping off a couple of IQ digits.

Granted that when compared to other countries, the average american falls short in mental competency, but I digress, it still doesnt make them idiots.

See how much of an idiot you are?
I call you an idiot because of your idiotic opinion of Obama, and you believe that an appropriate justification is "at least I didn't vote for him"
It doesn't even make fucking sense.

I thought you meant they're idiots for voting for him, which yes they are, but if you prefer an inexperienced president whos gunna send this country into a 50 year depression, then I guess I'd have to call you an idiot. Either that, or you are extremely self-destructive.

You don't find twenty five years to be enough experience?

Let's see, Bush was the Governor of Texas, Clinton was the Governor of Arkansas. Obama was in the Illinois state legislature. Hmm.. Yes, There is a big difference between running a state, and sitting in the states legislature as 1 person out of many.

Under a constitutional republic, the nation is supposed to be governed mainly by the legislature, while the president is only the international representative of the country.
So, under such a time in which we need internal reorganization, yes, someone with legislative experience is better than someone with executive experience.
