Seriously - or not seriously?

My hands smell of fish, rotting fish. I brought some frozen ones into school (to paint) and they've defrosted, and started to decay. The skin fell of one, it just went 'Splat!' on the floor. The stench is sweet and cloying. I keep retching, and can't clean it off me. I've washed my hands nine times now.

I have to keep them for the next four weeks.

...you have to keep the fish or your hands?

My arm still hurts from getting blood drawn, the whole area is a lovely shade of purple

On a different note, dead fish is one of the worse smells you can find.

Damn. I'd be terrified!

It is indeed. However, I find ten dead fish much worse.

Can't you replace the fish each time you need them?

I was just thinking that. Just get identical ( or as near as dammnit ) fish. Besides, if you've started to paint or draw them then they're hardly going to look the same in four weeks time are they? They'll just be a horrifically stenching pile of mush that won't bear any resemblence to what you originally started to depict.

My old art teacher in college made that mistake with a still life involving pumpkins, marrows and various other veg. Over the course of two weeks they inevitably disintegrated , went mouldy and began to smell, and no longer looked anything like what we had begun to paint. In the end we just painted from memory. It was a shit course.

Is fish your project? If you need photos of live ones I can take some of mine if you need any.

There's another playwright right next to me having an extremely perceptible nervous breakdown, it makes me feel better about my own situation.

gah my head is swimming, I almost didn't go to my 3:00 class because after I got about a quarter of the way to campus I wasn't sure that I was able to safely complete the trip, but hey I'm a risk taker so I risked my life and came anyway (that and it would have been a bitch to find a good place to turn around), now I'm stranded on campus until my 5:30 is over at which point I will hopefully feel a bit better (if either the migraine or the nausea go away i should be able to drive no problem) or I can get one of my classmates to give me a lift. I am really starting to worry about what is going on with me but the doc wants me to give the meds at least 48 hours to work before I go back in.

Oh and just so you all know if the worst case scenario plays out then I will be scheduling hysterectomy for early next week (there is about a 25-30% chance of this happening), yay 21 is way too young for this shit

I had a terrifying migraine where I got really dizzy and nauseous on Monday, coupled with terrible, er, cramps -_-. I couldn't go to class, my friends with cars had already left for the day, and I didn't feel safe driving.
Migraines can be a symptom of anything. I mostly get them when I drink too much coffee and not enough water, or I'm PMSing.

To ruin ramen, follow these easy steps:

Open package.
Crush dry ramen into a bowl.
Sprinkle half packet of seasoning on top of ramen.
Pour grated mozzerella cheese on top.
Microwave.
Pour remaining seasoning on top.

It's fucking gross.

There is a chance that I may have endometriosis (specifically of my right ovary), though it is unusual for someone my age to be diagnosed but it would explain some things and I do have a strong family history. It isn't the most likely diagnosis (the most likely cause for my problems is simply an inflammation of my right ovary ovary which is why we are waiting to see if the anti-inflammatory help)but it is still worrying to think about.

Endometriosis? My mother and a family friend have both had that and they didn't have to have a hysterectomy ... ?

In both situations they just went in and peeled off the affected tissue.

If it is caught early then they can remove the tissue with no real problem but in order for it to be causing the symptoms that I have then it would have to be somewhat advanced (it would at the very least be growing on one ovary) as well as aggressive as I am only 21 and have been checked for abnormal tissue growth within the last year (if I really wanted I could most likely get the tissue removed but I would have to get it done multiple times so a hysterectomy is the best option). Also it is the menstrual cycle that triggers the growth so if a woman is older then there is less of a chance for the tissue to regrow.

why not go on depo provera? My sister had a problem with her ovaries (I think it was cysts) so they put her on the needle and she was fine, she came off of it three months ago and so far she's doing okay, no cysts came back.

I've been on birth control but unless I got rid of my period all together then it wouldn't help, even then is still a risk of the endometriosis continuing to advance but I would be less likely to notice as many of the symptoms are most noticeable around the time of your period

I know someone who got the birth control injection and it completely rid them of their period the entire time they were on it.
