In the jailhouse now
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Well, I work at Target, I'm working on my B.A in Anthropology, I study Kung Fu, I spend entirely too much time playing Skyrim, and when I convince myself to stop being lazy I play drums and occasionally mediocre (on a good day) guitar.
2. Where are you from?
Los Angeles.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Currently I'm in love with Mark Miller, though I have to say I really liked a book I read by Clifford Geertz.
4. What are your favorite films?
I absolutely loved The Avengers. I'll see any movie based on a comic book really. Except Spiderman 3. I will never forgive them for making Topher Grace play Venom. Might as well have Celine Dion play Juggernaut while they're at it.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
We've agreed on Highway To Hell by AC/DC because Touch Too Much was too far.
6. At your funeral?
I honestly don't care. Everybody Loves You When You're Dead by Vains of Jenna? I don't know.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Valiantly fighting of a wave of Daleks long enough to save the Doctor.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
I'd prefer the cheapest method possible. No sense wasting resources on the dead.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My knee high boots, my trench coat, my yellow smiley face belt, some skinny jeans, and a shirt that fits my mood that day.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Eating junk food without guilt?
11. What's your favorite band?
Currently I'll have to say ZZ Top. Not fitting to the website but fuck it, they're the best.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
One year away from my B.A in Anthropology.
13. Why did you join?
I think my first account was around 2006 so I have no idea. I'm getting back on because I'd rather do this than my homework. Procrastination does strange things to a mind.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male. I can't honestly imagine any of my questions gave it away.

Are you doing physical or social anthropology? I'm thinking about switching my minor to antrho since Gender Studies courses aren't offered frequently.

Oh gosh let's see what has changed since you were here last. Hm...what was that like a year ago, maybe more? Biggest thing is I'm getting ready to move to Cali in about a month since Jake is now in the Navy (boot camp at the moment but after he graduates on the 1st he goes off to Monterey, and I'll follow over a couple of weeks later) and he will essentially be a linguist. It's a big change but a good one, we were both kind of stuck in dead end jobs so this is opening up a lot of opportunities, not just for him but for me as well since I can use his GI bill to go back to school and get the masters that I need to work in my desired field, cuz a BA in psych is kind of useless.

At undergrad you pretty much do all of it, but in grad school I'm going to focus on physical.
It's rather nice to be back. I figure I've grown up enough to not make a complete tit of myself. Besides this is an excellent place to avoid doing my homework.

Sadly I've been so busy with school and kung fu that I haven't had time. Might start one up with a dude I know, but it's not anything worth paying attention to yet.
