One of the nurses that took care of me was petite and very sexy, but I was in no shape to do anything even if she swung my way.

In too much pain to think of teh sex.
They had to push my esophogus(sp?) to the side to get to myspinal thingy, so on top of the pain where they cut into me and the back of my neck where I have metal now, it hurts to swallow (stop it!) and when I lay down, it feels like all my neck insides roll over to my incision and that feels great.
Pain...just lots of pain...

I just read this... Al, I hope you feel better soon! I'm glad you pulled it through. Take care of yourself and rest as much as you can. Your body needs it.
I guess the upside is... you get to take a lot of prescribed drugs. And meet hot nurses!
