Congrats on getting your GED. Although I do not like Crotchshadows, I cannot hold one band against you, welcome.

That's an interesting list of films. You're pursuing forensic science, eh? To each their own, I guess. It's a cheeky world, GeekyGirl!

Welcome to this place. I look forward to your contributions.

Ben, there's nothing wrong with forensics. Hell, if I were a bit younger I would be pursuing it, too. I'd love to be a medical examiner, but all of that schooling....and then you have to start at the very base salary. I'm too olde.

Geo just got her degree in forensics! When I was an anthropology major (doing physical anthro) I thought I'd like to do forensics after. Turns out though police don't find a whole lot of skeletons.

Welcome GeekyGirl!

You mean, Bones isn't real?! My world just caved in on me. I was gonna promote my love to Dr.Bones. Now I just feel dumb.

You're welcome.

When I got my GED I felt awesome. It took me years to go back and get it, but when I finally did it felt like oppurtunity waiting to ambush me at every corner.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I dropped out of school when I was 14. Yet when I finally got it, last week, I jumped up and down screaming "Boo-ya Bitches!" at my neighbors. My mom told them I was having a sudden spurt of insanity. I'd do that moment over and over again if I could, I'm truly excited to fulfill my educational dreams.

I guess that happiness could technically be a momentary burst of insanity.

For me, it's security. I refuse to be one of those people living in poverty at 60-70 barely surviving on what the government gives me.

That is a very good point. I have never truly looked at it like that before.
