I can't help but ask: what is Yaoi? I heard some Girls mention that word in japanese class, but I have no idea what they were talking about.

I always think of this (don't worry its not hentai): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InDK9qwVDhU
Yaoi can be hentai or it can just be a romance story between two boys, although romantic stories are more commonly called shonen-ai.

Geez... you had to ask!! The list is so long... well, then. I'll try my best in remembering every single one..
"Angel Sanctuary", "Fairy Cube", "Ludwig Revolution", and "The Cain Saga" by Kaori Yuki are big ones, in my book. In fact, just about anything by Kaori Yuki is great. She's an amazing artist, and her storylines are always so deliciously complex.. :3
I'm a yaoi fan, but please don't hold it against me!! I'm not one of those crazy fangirls whose convinced every single guy should be gay. Yaoi is purely fictional, and really NOT realistic-- real people aren't like that. I've never met couples who're truly "seme and uke" types. My favorite yaoi author's Ayano Yamane-- "The Crimson Spell" is one of her (many) masterpieces.
"Hellsing", "Naruto", "Cowboy Bebop", "Witch Hunter Robin", "Wolf's Rain", "Trigun", "Vampire Hunter D", "Death Note", "Aquarion Age", "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle", "xxxHOLIC", "Doubt!!", "Ouran High School Host Club", "Hana-Kimi", "Blood: The Last Vampire", "Ghost In The Shell", "Noir", "Lucky Star", "Absolute Boyfriend", "Alice 19th", "Azumanga Daioh!", "Boys Over Flowers", "FullMetal Alchemist", "Descendants of Darkness", "Elfen Lied" (even though the high-pressure blood splattering bothers the heck outta me T_T), "Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni", "FLCL", and "Junjou Romantica" are just a few of the manga and anime I've read/watched and liked.
Whew!! Sorry it took so long to post this ^^'

I haven't seen all of those (I'm more into horror anime), but I approve ^_^ Don't worry, we got a few yaoi fans here, I'm not into myself but there is a shonen-ai I really love, Gravitation XD its hilarious!

O_O How am I not surprised that my Introduction thread got turned into a discussion about anime and yaoi?
Oh, and the feeling's mutual, jack_the_knife :P

*shrugs* Then I guess you don't like me. If you've decided not to like me without even getting to know me first... well, there isn't exactly much I can do about it.

... Let me just add that I will not, on no uncertain terms, try to "make" people like me. What I am... what I've turned myself into.. people eventually come to hate me or love me. There isn't much middle ground, and I kind of prefer it this way.

You are a perfect display of utter mediocrity, I see no reason why people would form strong opinions of you.

He seems to be fascinated with the fact that I don't fuck off when I'm told to. Oh, well.. The amount of decent people on here pretty much trumps the number of assholes, so I think I can put up with what JCC, Ra_star, and the others have to say.

Maybe I like the sound of my keyboard's keys clacking. It's a nice staccato, to go along with the melody of the tears I shed because you're oh, so mean to me. What do you think?
