It's about a million degrees here today (a gross exaggeration but it's so uncomfortably hot) and I'm not going to wash my ute like I'm supposed to. I'll do it later, maybe. I took it out to work this week and it got pretty dirty, plus I had my feral workmates in there and they helped mess up the inside a bit. I also discovered a chip (of the once hot variety) inside the centre console area, under the park brake handle, so now I have to try and wrangle that out of there. There's also no window washer liquid. The chip is a bonus I bought it with obviously, along with two beer bottle lids down beside the seat.

While I was out at work this week my lunch was too hot one night and I burned all the inside of my mouth. Most of it has healed, there's just one little sore area left inside my bottom lip It's still a bit uncomfortable eating some foods.

In my infinite wisdom I ended up getting a slouchy beret. I was tired and desperate to leave the mall. Hours later, I'm starting to suspect I was thinking Beatnik, not hippie. I'm a terrible hippie.

Plus side: yes I look like a dickweed, but still infinitely more better than without a hat.

There's a really easy way to do the hippie look - you just want like a long strip of leather or even just material to tie around your head circlet style. Not under your hair bandana-style, just right over the top without doing anything else to it. Like this.

So... I feel incredibly stupid. I've been waiting for a check from my car insurance from back when my wife totaled my car. I forgot that I asked them to put it into a new bank account that I made but haven't touched yet. I've had $800 sitting in it since November.

The way school handled my GI Bill so far is NOT instilling any confidence in them. Ugh. They lost my award letter and then said that I never had it and then I had to go raise CAIN at the registrars office.

Hey, Kontan: Do you know what constitutes "full time" for school? I guess with the post 9/11 GI bill, if you go to school full time then you get paid E-5 BAH without dependents. That kind of turns me on.

I am. :/ I went about my day in the negatives today. I guess tomorrow is supposed to be like -25 with the wind chill.

And that wouldn't be the first time my sheer ruggedness has caused a wreck. I guess pretty ladies see me and just can't look away. I'm actually statistically proven to be more dangerous then texting. It's a curse, really.

I guess the only thing I can say is: If you get stranded and are freezing to death, keep warm with the memories that we have made. <333
