I don't think I'll be posting much, more of a lurker really

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
So far, I might get a job at a music venue nearby. I like to do artwork and sleep, drink tea, and find new bands to listen to. Not much of a person with hobbies. I used to bake a lot and sew.

2. Where are you from?
Northern VA, not to be confused with the rest of it.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I don't really have one, but I do enjoy Elizabeth Crane's writing style.

4. What are your favorite films?
I tend to like a lot of Thai films. I just spend time watching IFC or Palm Pictures.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Probably Obsession by Corpus Delicti, Sand by Einsturzende Nebauten or Above the Lone by Love Spirals Downwards

6. At your funeral?
As of right now, Circles on Sand by The Tear Garden

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Peacefully, in my sleep.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Something cool. I want there to be a lattice somewhere on it for flowers.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Boots, black skinny pants, huge sweater

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Not being held accountable for most actions

11. What's your favorite band?
Cocteau Twins

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
High School, probably majoring in Art and English

13. Why did you join?
Something to do, and it seemed interesting.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? Etc.
Female.
And I know there aren't many of us, but I'm black (not African-American, I'm not from Africa), and my hair is shoulder length previously mid-back before I cut it.

Just introducing myself, to be polite.

VA? Where's that? I'm terrible with American state abbreviations. But aside from that, welcome. You seem cool enough.

Fraulein? Miss. Frau is Mrs.
Like Senorita and Senora.

Frau MollyMac (because she is married)
Fraulein Disorder (because she isn't married. I think. Uh...is Australia like Kentucky? )

So the over all context was "Collapsing New Buildings" in German, so a salutation in German. Lame HumanePain Humor. That's all.

Oh, I just meant the 'strudel new' thing. So it means collapsing buildings?
Haha, I don't get it.

Einsturzende Neubauten is an experimental band formed in West Berlin in the 1980's. They were a part of second-wave industrial and continue to make music today.

Einsturzende Neubauten - Yu Gung

Einsturzende Neubauten - 12305te Nacht

There are others available online at various places if you would like to give them a test-listen.

That's okay...
In the words of my maman
"Il n'y'a que les idiots qui ne changent pas d'avis"
That's french for "Only idiots don't change their minds"
Plus, it's more fun if you talk more.
