Aaaw, poor Duane, getting all emo. If you want, you and I can listen to Aiden together. I'll wear my signed t-shirt, and we can sing together about razor blades, and blood, and out eternal torment. I'll warn in advance, I may break my emoness for a little giggle.

You have failed me Duane. For being an emo I'm going to have to kick your ass with MOB 47 blaring. *smashes glass bottle and waves it threatingly at Duane*

I wonder why emos are always associated with being depressed... it's not the only emotion. Ha, it amuses me.

Honeythorn/Del: Whitby Goth Festival - I was looking for B&B options and they are all booked out! I'm thinking of going anyway, taking a small tent and a sleeping bag and sleeping out in the moors or something. Is that illegal or something?

Er...well no I don't think it's illegal but it is quite foolish, and I personally have no idea how far away the moors are from the town. Besides, you need a ticket if you want to see the bands in order to get into the venue. But if you don't then I guess that doesn't matter since there are pubs we could all meet at during the day and so on.
Isn't there somewhere in the nearest town or village you could stay? Sleeping on the moors is a tad extreme.
Have you looked at this site for hotels ect?
http://www.iknow-yorkshire.co.uk/tou...ic_weekend.htm
Or this one?
http://www.aboutbritain.com/accommod...ear-Whitby.asp
You shouldn't have to sleep on the moors .

Oh yeah, I was actually on that site. I settled on not going around that time. I'm planning on going sometime this month.
I want to soak in the sights and sounds, historical landmarks (The Abbey ruins, Steps to Abbey, etc) and plus, there won't be very many tourists around which is something I wasn't really thinking of before. Everything will also be horribly expensive then and the whole place is going to be crawling with people. Just doesn't sound like fun when you really think about it.
I've found a couple of B&B's. They charge 25-30 per person per night. Does this mean that if I'm going alone, I'll have to pay for two?

No, you only have to pay for yourself . It just means that of there are two sharing a room you both have to pay for staying there, as opposed to paying one price for the room itself.
Take some pictures while you're there

Awesome!
Two nights = 70 pounds.
National Express (Yes, I know I'm cheap) = 40 pounds.
General expenses = 100 pounds.
I think I'm all set to go. I've sent e-mails out to some B&B's. Just waiting on their responses. And, fuck yeah, I'm going to take pictures!
Tell me this isn't absolutely stunning! Now picture this, in bad weather. Just awesome!

Haha, nah I'll wait and do it for real. I love clifftops and high views of the sea.
Ok! Aquarium plants are now thinned and the trimmings relocated with my brother and nephew....all I have to do now is huggle the bunny and then go through the long and arduous process of making myself look human for the evening ( pub tonight yay! ). Long and arduous is comprised mostly of doing my hair.

I'm just back from archery. If I can find £30, I think I'll join the society. It's £10 for joining Sports Fed- for insurance reasons, I have to- and £20 for the society itself, which provides the equipment.
I do like shooting.
