Red face OK. Has anyone read these books and if so....
What did you think about them? What are your takes on these?


I read 'em and I likes 'em!
Yeah, Anne Rice was good but I read all of those and I am exploring other things.
Here they are:

The Blood Countess by Andrei Codrescu

Drawing Blood by Poppi Z. Brite (just..... DAMN!)

Cold Streets by P.N. Elrod

Gotta admit. Not a huge Anne Rice fan. Her writing seems to have a superfluous ornateness to it.

I don't like Anne Rice either. I find her annoying.

Drawing Blood is an amazing book. And if you like that you should enjoy Lost Souls, also by Poppy Z Brite.
