No, you're giving credence to bad ideas as if bad ideas deserve equal consideration.

Did I say there were any bad ideas here? Nope.

If the truth is ever discovered (which I doubt) it will most likely be discovered long after you and I are dead.

That's cool. As long as I was open to it, whatever it may be. I'd like to know, but it won't break my heart if I never find out.

I heard from my cousin that if you drain 3 pints of blood from your head, that it will summon a benevolent demon to assist you in financial matters.

Being that you're searching for truth, you might want to get right on that.

We're talking about a harmless topic here, not bloodshed. Geez.

What I'm getting at is the burden of proof is on the believer. Ghosts are so rarely ever revealed that it's up to a believer to prove ghosts are real.

Since there is no supporting evidence that ghosts are real, we can logically deduce that they aren't.

There's no proof phlogiston is real and it's not.

To say the burden of proof is on a non-believer is stupid. But I'll entertain your logic. Behold, look to your left and right and behind you.... there are no ghosts.

Amazing, no?

I'm gonna be frank. Its just fucking pointless and illogical believing in ghosts. There's been hardly any evidence suggesting their existance and, with the knowledge we currently have, there's tons of evidence to suggest that they are just a fabrication.

But what about those in limbo, that neither believe nor disbelieve? Wouldn't they be the logical choice to prove either side, or find another explanation?

Probably not. They're more likely to sit on their hands and say the same stuff you're saying.

What you're talking about are generally agnostics who either expect there's a supernatural place and those agnostics who expect the opposite.

In other words, you either believe they're real or you don't. To imply that you're undecided means that the subject matter is indeed NOT important or you're too lazy to make up your mind.

Or there's not enough fact to support all sides, to explain what hasn't been..?

Or that she's trying to hard to please everyone else instead of respecting her own opinion.

OR there just aren't enough facts out there to be SURE.
Why is everyone so quick to jump to conclusions?

So you can't use logical deduction I take it? Should I tell you now that ghosts aren't real or would you like for me to write it in a science book for you?

Again, conclusions based on experience alone. That's cool and I respect that. But is it always the smart choice? No, not always. There are still a lot of things that have yet to be explained. That's all I'm saying. How hard is that to understand?

How hard is it to understand that if you make a ridiculous claims, YOU should back it up!

And how many times has it been said here that either side cannot be 'backed up' fully?

I'm done. This is ridiculous. No one is reading my words for what they are.

Which is WHY a point zero has to be the starting point!
That's how science fucking works.
Do you really believe that if I claim that scientifically, gravity is a sham and we're just pulled down by invisible angels, that you will swallow that shit because the existence of gravity can't be "backed up" fully?
