Define Friendship
As it has been a struggle for me through out my life to know when i can consider someone as a friend or not, i'd like to hear what other people have to say about it.

Someone you spend significant time with who will take your bad with your good and still be there, and who you can deeply communicate with, someone you can feel "safe" with when you share fears and tears.
And of course someone who you have fun with too. You understand each other.
The interesting thing is that in the beginning it requires a lot of time to be invested by both friends, but if the friendship lasts for decades, when you are older you can not talk to each other for weeks and then connect like it was yesterday.
I have a dozen friends I have kept in touch with since high school and college days and we have seen each other through girlfriend breakups, divorces, the birth of our kids, financial tragedies and windfalls, and our friendship is like I described above. Oh, and amongst my male friends we discuss Martian Law.

I'm just depressed like hell that i have no one to even hang out with tomorrow (tomorrow is an important day for me).

Friends love you whether they can be there or not. I am sorry you are spending the say alone when you don't want to, sorrier that you feel sad over it.

Friends love you for what you are , not for what you can do for them .
Some of them are able to be there , some are not . A part of it depends only on your needs .
It's exchange , it's business .
Friendships is mostly looking at the same point and agree : It's a point .
Again , friendships depends on how emotionally stable and mature you are and what do you expect of them .
Friendship is sometimes a mistery ...
