Well... I've decided to stumble back here. I miss too many people to let the whining of an accusationally misled clique dictate my online practices. Christ all fuckin' mighty...

Queenie, Morrigan, Disorder, Angel and Mags though... you five make me smile, and after the long days I put in, I kinda need that. It will definetly be infrequent, but I'll be around... miss you guys.

Sanctus - I noticed you came back a couple weeks ago to wish me happy birthday. That was sweet and I didn't get to say thanks before I disappeared for a bit. So, thanks

I miss Xnguela. *slices wrists with a french-fry*
I'm also listening to Green Day right now! dood I'm so punk now! I mean, I only listen to music I see on MTV and Fuse and buy all my clothing from major chain stores that claim to be punk!

...But, seriously... They're a good band.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, Green Day *were* a good band. I must profess, I listen to "Good Riddance" and "Basket Case" on occasion.

That's a damn well cut french fry, I miss Demonista.

It's sad all the pain and turmoil that has been going on here... I don't know the details for myself so I won't make a judgement, although I could...
This place isn't worth missing now, I think. It is like missing an ex you broke up with, then meeting up with them and realising why you broke up with them in the first place. There's nothing to come back to...
Maybe there are greener pastures elsewhere, and stuff...
In fact, there definitely has to be...

I tried to add your email address from your profile, but it didn't seem to work. My instant messenger address is goku goten goten @ hot mail .com, without the spaces, If you want to add me.

I added you, and sent the mail ^^, so you will have a mail from Deidre O'Connor, it's me.
Deirdre was a Role Play Game character I used a lot in the last two years ^^

About the job, people told me it was quite easy to find one in London, but I have no idea about that. But I know there's many french people working in London, so if they can find a job, why can't I?
Anyway, I won't be able to look for one before october.

Their post was not directed at you personally, it was a warning to everyone.
(Taken out of thread to avoid further bicker-jacking)

Mags, I like you and I respect your opinion. But I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one.

I can see why you may say, "look, Gnet is getting rid of the fucktards and that's all we ever wanted, right?"

But let's not forget, this is the Gnet that allowed racist trolls to smear crap all over the boards, because they're apparently entitled to their opinion too. (I don't disagree with this in theory, but members who come in purely to call members "N***** lovers" in a thread on race should be outta there before their feet touch the ground, in my opinion.) They allowed some troll, who seemed to be generally accepted to be Rabbit in another incarnation, to attack Kari with hate speech in the picture post, refusing to (re-)ban him until EPS left some particularly loathsome posts up for them to see in desperation, hoping they'd remove him. Which they did, in their own sweet time... although not before he'd had time to leave some lovely little nuggets over the forums.) We've seen it all - hate speech, kiddie porn... and all of the perpetrators have been allowed a decent run before being removed, which should have done instantly. Meanwhile, senior members were gradually being banned for posts like, "I miss Darren" (Eyes) - or sometimes, as in the case of EPS, nothing at all. Not to mention leaving EPS's real name up for a good long while, lying that she had posted it in the past, and banning Manimal this morning for no apparent reason other than that they didn't like what he was saying.

I absolutely shouldn't have gone troll-bashing in a remembrance thread. Which is why I apologised to Falken when I read the whole thread and promised to stop cluttering it.

But in my opinion, you don't get to go doling out little pearls of wisdom like cookies for all the little memebers to gobble up, when you've shown such an utter lack of disregard for how your own forum is run up until this point. Not to mention having gone against your own advice in the past..

Report them? To what end? Sure, those particular (non-hate-speech-using) trolls have been removed. But far nastier pieces of work have been allowed to run rampant on these boards, spewing filth all over them, not so long ago.

Which is why the post got on my bloody tits, to be honest.

Anyone know if Pitseleh(I probably didn't spell that correctly) still around?
He was my favorite person here aside from EPS and Wolfie.

Wise - I fully appreciate your point of view on this and I think that you are quite right. My issue was that I know that many of the members here don't like the admins. I felt that your reply to the admins post was an angry reaction to the admins presence more than their advice. That's fine by me but I thought it may provoke a "let's jump on the bandwagon" approach by others and again turn the thread into another argument. I was simply trying to stop that before it began.

I apologise if I was picking on you but since yours was the first reply, it was the one I responded to.
