That's wierd, I was just about to post a topic on this.

I get lessons for: harp, piano (grade 6), tin whistle, flute, fiddle, clarinet (grade 7) and singing (grade 5).
I also teach myself guitar and drums.

For harp, tin whistle, flute and fiddle, the music I play is irish traditional (although I play classical on the harp every once in a while).
The rest are classical or rock (guitar and drums).

I also agree with what LetheanBlacklight said about dedication. Music is my life, I focus on it 24/7, and I love it. I would like to become better on the drums and guitar however, so I'm going to try get lessons on those.

I'd like to learn bowed bass, maybe violin. Besides what I just mentioned, I love the bassoon, oboe, and clarinet.
I played my electric bass with a violin bow xD (you're talking of the doublebass though, correct?)

I wish to learn the guitar, just to know it, (despite it's common-cy *I made my own suffix, yes*) but I'll stick with the 2 I have mainly xD

Yeah, the guitar is really cool even though everybody and their mother is playing it too now.

But I've always thought the Organ was a really inspiring instrument, it's so cool you can play it (and take all the stupid jokes that must ensue).

Thank you, yes, the jokes are plentiful with that instrument (not a whole lot of thought has to go into making a joke with organ) I just learn to ignore :P, but I'll be learning guitar

Have you tried Harpsichords before?

Well, if you count the harpsichord effect on the keyboard, then yes. :] But really, no I haven't.

No, I don't count that, because the Harpsichord is quite different from the keyboard, although it is a keyboard-handled instrument
