So, I'm new...

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
a student at high school

2. Where are you from?
I move a lot...

3. Who is your favorite author?
I read too much to have a favorite

4. What are your favorite films?
Queen of the Damned, Underworld, Wizard of Oz...just to name a few

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I've never really thought about that, so I have no clue

6. At your funeral?
Never really thought about that one either...probably some guy at a piano would be cool. I always liked the piano.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
If i do die, i'd probably want to get shot. Short and sweet.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Black? Red satin? Heh, kind of over done.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Love love love my plaid skirt with the skulls.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
The innocence

11. What's your favorite band?
Again, listen to too many to have a favorite. At the moment, Muse...

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
is queen of the world still up for grabs?

13. Why did you join?
I found it randomly webserfing and thought i'd meet some cool new people.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Hmm, hopefully Rayne makes it obvious. if not, female.

Hmm, i hope that covers the basics. I'm new here so I don't really know the ropes. See ya around.

Okay, I'm slightly intrigued by your fashion. Please satisfy my curiosity and name some more bands you like...preferably goth bands.

And welcome.

Hey, Rozz. I hate to disapoint, but my fashion ends about there. Anything else I own is used to dress up that one skirt of just a random pair of jeans. Oddly enough, throwing some safty pins and tears here and there can make anything fashionable in my book. Heh. As for bands, hmm. Linkin Park will always be one of my favorites...I realize they are going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, but that will soon pass. For some reason, Lights have taken over my ipod. Some others are; collective soul, disturbed, Egypt Central, Hollywood undead, Jem, Marilyn Manson, Saliva, Since October, and yeah...kinda ranting over here about music. heh.
Thanks for welcoming me, Mr E Nigma

Linkin Park is ok but... Marilyn Manson? Really? To each his own I guess. Welcome. You'll find loads of good stuff browing the Music section, Ed's blog he used to maintain is also a good source for music. Might as well link it here. http://getdead.blogspot.com/2009/02/...sychocult.html

Lots of stuff in there you might like.

I'm going to admit right now... Manson's "This Is Halloween" cover makes me happy... just sayin'.

One of those guilty pleasure things I guess...

We should make a thread with a bunch of goth bands listed for noobs so we can say "Check these out so you have an idea of what goth is based upon." I don't care if they like it or not, but it's good for them to have an understanding of it while being part of a gothic online community.

Or, you could just link to a list of Goth bands or Goth music vids in your sig, if it bugs you that much. ^.^;;

It doesn't bug me, but people repeat themselves in every intro thread "You should listen to these bands for x reason," and it seems like it'd be easier to just direct them to a thread focused on Goth bands and links to their songs.

Putting it in a sig would take up a ridiculous amount of space, and therefore a terrible idea.
