Final Fantasy XIII

I enjoyed the game play in ff13.. I certainly enjoy strategically planning out my paradigms and such. I haven't gotten much of the story line as I only helped a friend with the tougher battles occasionally.

I do enoy more open game play. I like being able to get lost in a game for hours and explore the world that the programmers, so painstakingly, made for me. But hell, there are so many games with facets that I enjoy, so, if I want open game play I can put on Oblivion or play an older Final Fantasy.

One thing I don't miss about more open game play Final Fantasy was random encounters trying to walk from one place to the next. On the world map especially when you're not sure where you're going it pisses me off.
