I'm ashamed to say this....

I'm addicted to House. I seriously watched it for 3 hours on USA last night, and then went to Youtube and watched another 3+ hours of it. I think I just love shows where the main character is a total asshole....

I watched it once or twice on AXN.

I mean I have watched some comedy about doctors and hospital and... you know, shows like Doc Martin and other alike, AND House is one of the best.

Why have shame for what you like? Seems a waste of time. House is awesome, there is no shame in it

Yeah, House is awesome. It made me want to be a doctor back when I first watched it.

But Hugh Laurie is brilliant, so I have trouble not liking every single thing he's in.

This is a pretty good show, but I've become less endeared to it as a result of others' incessantly comparing my personality to that of the central character. My father is a particularly big fan, and thinks said parallel is endlessly hilarious. One of my greatest fears is developing a severe limp and being drowned beneath the torrent of House jokes that would inevitably speed towards me.

Ok so it's settled then, if we were to ever have a gnet get together, we would have house on a continuous loop on a movie screen.

I once watched it for nine hours straight, during one of the holiday day long marathons.
Each episode reminds me of my family. :P

You shouldn't be ashamed to say you like House. House is awesome. In my opinion, one of the best shows on television. You should be more ashamed of being ashamed that you like House.

House is exceedingly good compared to most drivel they broadcast. In my opinion, Laurie has done some better stuff though. Even though, House is by far his most popular (and most serious) character.

When I first read this I thought you were all talking about house dance music.
I don't watch enough television to be familiar with programs like this one.

I also love the show. What gets me, however, is seeing Hugh Laurie in the older British shows like Blackadder, and seeing him in House I just can't get over the new American accent...

Honestly, I'd say you're not very House-like at all.

I don't really get it either. He's certainly not the fictional character with whom I have the most in common-- I'd say that would be Batman or God, possibly a cross between the two named Batgod. I suppose we're both attractive, virtually infallible, and misanthropic, but those are pretty sweeping adjectives.

It's a good show with great actors, a better-than-average plot, and it is scientifically accurate.

What the hell's wrong with that?
