A reintroduction might be in order...
Well, since I've merely been lurking for the last few months, and not been very active for quite some time, and since my original introduction was rather non-descriptive, I'd just re-introduce myself, since I'm planning to post quite a bit now that I've got an internet connection at home.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am a graphic/sound designer and programmer for an independent game company called Canvas Software. I write horror and fantasy short stories when the whim catches me, but just seem to lack the willpower to actually finish writing a complete novel.
I am also the lead vocalist and song writer of the Electro Goth band Hexotericka.
2. Where are you from?
I am from the currently extremely hot and humid Pretoria in South Africa.
3. Who is your favorite author?
I have a passion for fantasy fiction, especially the Forgotten Realms series.
Currently, my favourite authors in the series are R.A. Salvatore and Ed Greenwood.
4. What are your favorite films?
The Lost Boys, Labyrinth, Dead Poet's Society, May, Willow, The Neverending Story (only the first), Death Proof, Planet Terror, Reincarnation, Ring 0: Birthday, Ring 1 and 2 (original Japanese versions) and many, many more.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I haven't given it much thought, but I'd probably say "One Caress" by Depeche Mode.
6. At your funeral?
Not quite sure, but probably something very festive and jolly.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Well, I don't plan on dying before I've done all I still want to do in this life, but when I do die, I wish to go quietly and peacefully in my sleep.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Just a simple wooden casket. No frills.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Currently, My PVC shirt with the fishnet arms and metal cross on the front, my pentacle necklace, leather pants, New Rocks and neck corset.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
My imagination, which seems to have diminished as I grew up.
11. What's your favorite band?
Too many to mention, but currently, Elusive, Clan of Xymox, The Birthday Massacre, ASP, Diorama, Spear of Destiny, Southern Death Cult (and the Cult).
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I have diplomas in various computer related subjects from a computer training college, as well as sound engineering credentials.
13. Why did you join?
To meet other like-minded people.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.
