For any kind of multiple-hole spiral, you REALLY should have that professionally done, so the angles and spacing of the piercings are as similar to the spiral as possible.

DO IT. It's fun, lol. I got mine fo' free done by a friend who had piercing needles and they were painfree in like a week and I've never had problems. So if you get it done by someone who is experienced it probably won't hurt at all.
Has anyone here pierced there own anything? I'd really like to do my second navel piercing myself but I'm not sure if I should....

I did everything in my ears except for the original set (pierced when I was a child). Just used a large, sharp crafts needle that I'd dipped in rubbing alcohol. It took quite a bit longer than a professional's piercing gun, but doing it myself was far more personally satisfying. If you decide to DIY your navel piercing, all I can say is sterilise anything you may use and go for it.

There is no reason to punch a septum. Just stretch it. It's much better.

Yeah man, my septum's 5mm.
Didn't hurt at all.
Going to six when it's ready.

Awesome. I would stretch mine but I don't wanna wear a plug/tunnel in it
and I can't flip rings that big up my nostrils to hide it.

I'm getting a tat on my right hipbone, but I don't know which tatoo to pick. Are stars way too common?

I'm kind of boring in the body mod regard.
Used to have my navel pierced but it got a wicked infection and I had to let it close up. Would like to redo it some day.
My ears are 2 on the right and 4 on the left. I have tons of earrings but barely change them out. Have had my piercers barbells and open hoops in for probably 6 months now.
Still considering my tattoo's location.

There are so many things wrong with this sentence.
Also, I feel boring. All I've got by way of piercings are 2g plugs and another set of 14g, and I have an industrial. Pineapple is lame.

Get something that means something, if stars are near and dear to your heart then go ahead and get them, it doesn't matter if they are popular.

There is if you have very small space between the bottom of your nose and the cartilage, since cartilage is a lot more troublesome to stretch than soft tissue. Furthermore, punching would relieve pressure, but I'm considering stretching.

Yeah thanks, I've decided to tatoo an Amaranth (it's a flower that looks like a rose, minus the thorns) so yeah, awesome

I just got my ears pierced on Friday, due to the fact that I missed having some holes in my body after I had to remove my tongue ring.

I got a dumb question for you all.
I am stretching my ears but stupidly stretched one of them incorrectly. It swelled and began to bleed. Though it's healed now, I find that when I stretch it, even when I do it "right," it is prone to bleeding. Is this normal?
Anyways, I'm up to a 4g on my earlobes and have 12 piercings total. I have others on my lobes, 3 cartilage, an industrial, 1 tragus, and a lip piercing. I want 2 more lip piercings, and eyebrow and nose, but I'm trying not to give my grandmother a heart attack, haha.

Yes, that expression "I need that like I need another hole in my head" always seemed to mean something different to me than most people meant by it.

Yep that's the case with me...I wore it to work once in a while, but it just looked way too unprofessional.
You would look rather hot with that piercing btw ^_^

It's not normal for it to bleed. You're stretching too fast with too big of a size.
FYI, if it's bleeding then it is NOT healed.
