Father's Day
What did you do or get for Father's Day?
I got my Dad a card and wrote a sentimental thingy about Fathers and Father's Day.

I made my father a beautiful gift basket filled with paints and brushes and a journal.
He doesn't even know how old I am.

I went to lunch with my dad. It wasn't as bad as I expected. I gave him a card because I'm a broke ass.

I didn't do anything for my dad. He doesn't like it when I celebrate things like that. He says he doesn't need a special day because he chose to be a dad and he doesn't expect things in return.

My daughter got me a ceramic glazed harpie and an awesome card! He is going on my desk at work. What a loving daughter! And my son gave me a hug and cooked me a hamburger, and served it with panache.

I called my mother to see how she was holding up, we had a nice long chat. After that I went out to dinner with Jakes family, not to celebrate Father's Day but for his grandparents 50th anniversary, we are going to celebrate Father's Day this weekend instead (which is good because it gives enough time to make a trial sugar free chocolate torte before I make the one I'm going to give to Jake's father)
