Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

Crass
No one's made a Crass thread yet, have they? I only have "Christ: The Album" and I love them from that alone, but if I were to get another album what should it be?
Aside from that, how does everyone like Crass?

Crass is one of the quintessential real punk bands, if not THE punk band.
For some reason, a lot of other bands diss out Crass.

I like to listen to them when they're on, but I don't seek them out completely.

The album, " Yes Sir, I Will" is fucking great.

Get all of them. Go to btjunkie.com and download their discography. Crass is probably the only band that WOULDN'T be pissed if people download thier music. You'll need utorrent though.
Feeding of The 5000 is thier best in my opinion as well.

Thats the thing. My computer is slow and unreliable, doesn't work with crazy new fangled programs and I don't care. This means downloading is always out of the question. I just wanted to know what to look out for when I'm at little hole-in-the-wall CD shops.

Been one of my favourite bands since I was like 8.
I have their discography.
You got MSN HauntedHouse?
If so I could send you some stuff.

Actually, I think Penis Envy is my favourite. It's different from their other stuff, the musical arrangements are more complex, and it's less "macho", if you know what I mean. Eve Libertine's voice is awesome.

Fair enough. Definitely Feeding of the 5000, and then Penis Envy next.

I like the album a lot but can't listen to it all the way through as her voice drives me insane.
