Cronometra
He plays all day
Smooth and cold
Warm to the touch
With a side-splitting glow
Acting out, a new age messiah
One last lie, a beautiful show.
Drop the chains
Come on life.
Suspend the pain.
Empty black desires light
Sinking deep into the bright.
He enjoys the pain
He enjoys the slack
Nothings going to bring him back.
Cronometra won't seem to start
Neither will my lonely heart.
Bondage rules,
A whip for fools,
stencil your name,
a household ghoul.
Drop the chains
Come on hang
A spectral day
A nocturnal sight
In the cruel garden of dark delights
Rusted bars parade the town
Desire is an earthly brown.
Come on hang.
Drop.
All is the same
It's not a play
Shakespearean delight
The freedom of fright.
Drown the pain
Hang from the chains.
