Overall we're not that kind of goth. WGT is too cyber, not enough deathrock.

Well most of the German goths donīt listen too much metal/rock (at least the ones I know) I donīt think WGT is too cyber. Itīs just like Merīa Luna. Of course the number of cyber goths has increased over the past few years but theyīre still a part of the gothic scene ... At the moment there are a lot of people running around in the steampunk style. At least in Germany Are there many gothic festivals in the states?

It's not too Cyber. They have Neue Deutsche Todeskunst.

Spooky, they are not different, just more likely to listen to some of the German bands I like. Although, yes, the Gruftis do make me droooool. ^_^

I'm just a first semester German language student, I've got a long way to go until I can claim to speak it.

Hey, welcome to the forums.

You have a horse? As an animal lover, details on this would be appreciated.

I completely forgot about Theatre Des Vampires, I'm glad this thread reminded me

Guten Morgen

Well, actually I have 2 horses. But my mom rides my icelandic pony most of the time and I ride my german warmblood

I have a question to those who are learning German: Is it more difficult than other languages?

I didn't find it too hard. I used the Pimsleur cassette tapes way back at fifteen years old, only stuck to it for about six months. It took work to pronounce and get the accent right, but I learned fast.

Now Russian would be hard
