I'm the same. I have far too much shit lying about, but I can think of reasons to keep it all. I suspect I may be a hoarder. My grandfather actually was a hoarder, to the point where you could open the door to rooms by about 6 inches and no more. He even tied up the light fittings to chuck more stuff on top

I was texting back and forth with my brother about what to get him for Christmas, I knew he wanted dress clothes as he new-ish job has a pretty formal dress code so business casual (which he has plenty of) doesn't cut it. He texted me his sized and what he needs the most but, being Erik, he just had to give me an alternative: a hooker.

*sigh*

I knew my brother hadn't really turned into a mature adult.

Sol, maturity is overrated.

This morning, before my finals this idiot rear-ended our car while we were stopped at a red light. Good thing we still had the trailer hitch on from my husband moving his pit the other day. Dingbat messed up her own car instead of ours. Yay!

Just kicked the Old Testament's ass in my exam. It was a really fun course though and I'm kinda sad its over, we kinda kept to the books concerning the history of Israel as a nation so we didn't get to do Job or Ruth or anything.

On the other hand, I have a few new favourite names (reason number 354 why I shouldn't have kids: Jehoshaphat is just too fun a name for me to resist), I get the context of the stories, I know a lot of the mistranslations, and I have a new favourite Bible passage:

"Circumcise yourselves to the LORD; remove the foreskin of your hearts, O men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem".

REMOVE THE FORESKIN OF YOUR HEART.

OMG I've had a terrible headache ever since I moved into this house. I think it's the lighting. Or the fact that I am terrified of new neighbors, so I've spent the entire day in front of my computer.

What's wrong with the lighting? I got killer headaches from the light in my dorm room freshman year, turns out that the spectrum of light was causing me loads of eye strain, we covered it with some shear fabric which did the trick and had the added bonus of hiding the ugly fixture from view.

I did way better this semester than I thought. In a course I feared I might fail, I got 82.

This made me chuckle uproariously (it totally makes fun of recent events in the DC universe, particularly in the Catwoman comics.)

Then I snickered.

Then I read it again and chuckled some more.

Bwah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah-hah!
