TwItCh
hello people, well, i've been pestered by a few members here to write an introduction, so, i guess here it is:::
my name is Joseph Vincent Scott Baker, and im in year 9 at St greagorys College in australia.
I dont have a favorite auther, but i love to read fantasy style adventure books, like the lord of the rings, and stuff like that.
My favorite films are:
texas chainsaw massacre,
Dawn of the dead directors cut,
blade 1 and 2 ( i thought number 3 was too , i don't know, comertialised)
saw 1, 2 and 3
the music i would want played at my wedding is : vermillion part 2 acoustic, by slipknot.
the music i would like played at my funeral is: cradle of filth: fear of the dark, or nymphetamine fix
the way i would want to die is: getting stabbed in the neck
the type of casket i would want: black wood outside, cream coloured silk inside.
umm, i dont have a favorite outfit, i have to buy more clothes, (im kind of poor),
my favorite band is cradle of filth,
i joined this site to find other goths, because there are not that many where i live,
im a guy, i like art, reading, drawing, making things
and that is me.

Do you mind me asking how old you are? Just out of curiousity =P
Also, you didn't particularly say that the bands you mentioned were goth, but just incase, I'm going to tell you now that they aren't. ^^ Someone else will probably write you a whole paragraph on it xD So be prepared!

Welcome. I won't take back the thing about your writings being awful, but that won't get in the way of me trying to be your friend, because (aside from the 'fuck off and die') you seem to respond well.
If you don't have a favorite author, I mentioned four poets in your thread which you should check out.
Also if you like fantasy, I recommend the author Dan Simmons. He is the creator of some of the best sci-fi/fantasy/horror books ever, even admired by Stephen King (who is a close friend of Simmons)
As for the music...
Needless to say, I don't like it, but there's not much I can do about it except telling you to look for other bands.
Look for music by Peter Murphy (both Bauhaus and solo works). He's very quiet and mellow, but both the lyrics and tone are perfect for introspective thinking.

You like Amon Amarth, you get points for that.
Try Behemoth, you might like them. If you want anymore pointers on similiar music, let me know.
Anyway. Getting stabbed in the neck, is for obvious reasons, an odd way of dying. Any perticular reason why?

umm, i dont know realy, i just thought about it, and realised, if i got stabbed in the neck, i would have time to stab , or shoot, the person that stabbed me, or atl least stare into their eyes as i die, and creep them out XD

I approve of the bands Tool and Amon Amarth. Though obviously not goth, Tool still has a place in my heart.
