Hi

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
My biggest hobby is WWII reenacting. Other than that, I just chill during my
free time.

2. Where are you from?
I am from Ohio, though I currently live in Florida.

3. Who is your favorite author?
That's a hard one because there are alot of good books I've read, though I don't
remember the Author's name. It would probable be Ajahn Chah, who gave many
speeches and is also an authority on Bhuddism.

4. What are your favorite films?
One would have to be starship troopers, it's been my favorite since I was a kid.
Uh, the others would be The Jacket, I Heart Huckabees, Saw, and Saw II

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Another tough one, probable something classical and somber, apropiate for the
ocassion.

6. At your funeral?
Same thing

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? Probably fast, old
age really isn't pleasant.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Full-metal casket

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Just cloths that are comfortable

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Probable the innocence or lack of responsibility. Granted that having responsibility
puts you higher on the things you can do list, I would almost rather not have to
worry about what happens tomarrow. Also you don't have to worry about
politics, war, or women.

11. What's your favorite band?
Funker Vogt is pretty much the top followed by Eisbrecher, Die Form, Flesh Field,
Apoptygma Berzerk, and the CruexShadows

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Right now I'm a sophmore (highschool) and I want to attend westpoint which will get me a
Bachelor of Arts in Science. After that, I think my major will be exprimental
psychology.

13. Why did you join?
Well hopefully to talk to some interesting people, but I always like to read what
other people think, regardless of opinion.

I just bought "The Jacket" I would probably be watching it on my laptop at work right now if I had not forgotten it at home, I have not seen it yet.

It's a really good movie, and it delivers a good point at the end. I especially like the beginning.

I know a bit about WWII. I know the socio-political side alot better than specific dates. I reenact the Third Infantry Division so we learn alot about Italy. Also 3rd ID has more medal of honor winners than any other infantry division.

Hey Schneider, welcome.

I am fascinated by WWII also. In fact, wars in general. What, in your opinion, were the good (if any) and bad (if any) points resulting from the outcome of WWII?

Well the good results of WWII where lower population due to deaths, new military and civilian technology, and nuclear energy.

The bad side of world war II is it allowed the Soviets to become a super-power, which we allowed by giving it manufacturing goods. Also the residue from WWII is still being felt in every single war we have fought since then.

Because of the soviets we had to go to Korea and Vietnam. When the Soviets invaded afghanistan, we gave the resistance weapons to repel the soviets and after they did that, used them to take over the country. Not to mention we taught them as well as Osama geurilla tactics.

Oh, also when we first attacked Iraq, I didn't understand the logic to it. Everybody thinks that it's for oil, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. I went to my globe a few years back to look at Afghanistan's and Iraq's positions. I realized that the two stratled Iran. Iran is the biggest (other than saudi arabia) of the Middle Eastern countries. It is also the home of many terrorists and now developing nuclear capabilities. I believe we attacked Iraq not to take out Saddam, but for strategic placement in the middle east. Now that we have bases in Afghanistan and Iraq, we can bring military pressure on them, as we could use the two countries as staging areas.
