I've recently gotten into Deathnote. It's awesome. You can watch the episodes on YouTube, as well.

Death Note...

Definitely on my "worst anime" list. To me, it was just random scenarios strung together; and the content gave little impact. It's just another anime everyone is jumping on the bandwagon for, like Naruto. Just my opinions, however.

Hardly anyone I know likes anime, and the ones that do haven't seen Death Note so I don't know about a bandwagon :P

Its good, but I didn't really enjoy the movies. I don't like a lot of anime because its too unrealistic for me when it comes to most fight scenes. Death Note has more plot than other anime I've seen.

So what is on your favourite anime list L'Oiseau Noir?

I've got several favorites; it would take a long time for me to go through them all. But to name a few off the top of my head, in no particular order:

1) Elfen Lied

2) Shingetsutan Tsukihime

3) Fate/Stay Night

4) Onegai Teacher

5) This Ugly Yet Beautiful World

6) Mahoromatic

7) Tsukuyomi -Moonphase-

8) Nightwalker

9) Banner of the Stars

10) Outlaw Star

.... Are you calling me a bandwaggoner, Miss Noir?

I'm a fan of Death note the Manga. Funnily enough, I actually have the entire collection and still read it from time to time. Miss L'Osieau Noir, perhaps you have only viewed the final part of the series? I thoroughly enjoyed the first 1-7 books but after that I would say they were mostly a bunch of inconstant scenarios which really ruined it for me. I just liked most of it for L.

What is so great about this Elfen Lied that you have been mentioning all the time?

Congratulations on making your 1000th post. ^_^ Ye be all dark and maculine and wear glasses all the time.

I read a bit of the manga because a friend had lent them to me, but, sadly, I wasn't impressed with them. I don't know, but the story was just too languid for me, too flat; however, it's just personal speculation that I deduce this from.

And what is great about Elfen Lied, you ask? Everything! I found the story very nice, the characters emotional (to a point), and the romantic aspects just beautiful. Plus, it was one of the few animes that succeeded in bringing me to tears.

Thank you. To be honest, I didn't even notice I hit the Andrew Eldritch rank 'til you pointed it out to me.

O I quite enjoyed the anime, and I'm really not very fond of anime/manga stuff. Cutesy, Dragonball and romantic shite does my head in.

L, I must say, is currently my hero.

I've been a fan of Death Note since long before it was on TV, I've watched it about four or five times, and I must say that I became oddly attached to the character Mello, it hit me hard when he died. -sad face-

1) Elfen Lied <---- I own the box set, I had it autographed by the voice actors. Shhh, not many people know I love this one.

2) Shingetsutan Tsukihime

3) Fate/Stay Night<---- I watched it a while ago; I loved it.

4) Onegai Teacher <---- I loved this one too.

5) This Ugly Yet Beautiful World<---- I never finished watching it

6) Mahoromatic<---- I wasn't a big fan of this, I lost interest after the second episode.

7) Tsukuyomi -Moonphase- <---- I've read some of the manga

8) Nightwalker<---- Has been suggested to me twice.

9) Banner of the Stars

10) Outlaw Star<---- Old school, awesome anime.

How about Madlax and Noir?

I'm also a fan of Pretear and Princess Tutu.

I was just listening to Ningyo Hime! It's a song from Chobits, I love the anime, but I loved the manga more.

I used to NEVER be into ANYTHING Japanese until I became friends with a girl who was from Japan. She got me into Chobits. I downloaded most of the songs from the Chobits soundtrack. It's a good time. I hate to admit that I like some J-pop now too.

Noir isn't bad, and I never watched Madlax. Heard of it, though.

And I'm jealous. Autographed Elfen Lied box set... you suck!
