Wow... This is one heck of a first impression! The Introductions thread? Was this your introduction, or was it a mistake putting it in here?
Anyways, welcome. I think.

After seeing what alcoholism did to my parents' marriage and lung cancer did to my dad's life, I don't take anything. I don't need to put anything in my body to have a good time. However, if y'all want to do whatever, who am I to judge, as long as you don't drive while you're influenced.
It does make me sad though. My brother-in-law is in jail now and facing prison time for drugs. I think he's doing harder stuff, but I know it started with marijuana. He's a brilliant kid who tries to erase his problems with drugs.

JCC, expect it to violently have it's way with your lungs, but if you can survive losing your pot cherry it's definitely a good time.

I'm militant straight edge thanks to some of my music (SS Decontrol, DYS, Minor Threat) so I'm not touching drugs or alcohol, sex however, I will gladly touch.

I think it's fucking disgusting; but whatever floats your boat, I guess.
Edit: And I accidentally put yes as my poll answer. Just put me down for a no.

Currently feeling the side effects of it now. I take it occasionally with some friends when I feel like I'm in a safe environment, I wouldn't even advocate it's use unless you are comfortable with the people around you.
I also think it's disgusting if it becomes a routine thing. It's not for everyone and if you're constantly on some kind of substance then I don't find that it's living anymore, just 'experiencing'.
It's fine to smoke occasionaly and like everything, it needs moderation.

A ten is a bag of weed that costs £10. Averages around 2 grams.

I like marijuana as much as I like tobacco, I don't do it I don't care about it (yes vote). Smoke it all you want just make sure I'm not downwind of it, I don't have asthma but I am more sensitive to things like that which change the air content/smell. It's also why I hate many scented candles/stores like bed bath and body works they both bombard my sense of smell/lungs at an intollerable level for me. I just avoid heavily scented areas untill the smell dissipates to an acceptable level.

I don't have a problem with people who do it so long as it doesn't consume their life. I've known way too many people who had no life outside of smoking pot. All their friends smoked it. Everything they talked about had to do with it. Everything they drew was of pieces and bud leaves. Even the music they favored were from bands who over glorified smoking pot. Quite frankly, I find that kind of lifestyle hollow, fleeting and utterly pathetic and I reserve no time under the sun moon and stars for people like that.
At my last job a good 90% of everyone working there smoked religiously. On their 15 minute breaks, lunch, the extra breaks they too to smoke some more.
So, yes and no. I have a problem with stoners. I don't have a problem with people who like to indulge once in a while.

That I am not like that, Smoking is great. But smoking at work on breaks is wrong. I don't draw leafs, or listen to music glorified by smoking. I spend more time doing it now because of my situation. I used to hang out with peope like you taked about but I wasn't never like them. In fact in the last few weeks I realized how much I hate people like that. Probally why I am lonely but I kinda don't have the right personality to just go out and make friends in the real world. Good news is that I am willing to try something new. Their is this bar that has Monday night Texas Hold em poker games. Bad news I have to get a new photo id to get in (lost mine)
Thank god the people at the bank and store know me

The first time I smoked, it was three bowls of some really good White Widow. I like smoking for fun on occasion, but I prefer the medicinal purposes.. I have severe back pain, so.. yup.
I can't stand people who smoke constantly, but whatever. Weed should be legal.

Used to smoke, don't anymore.
I don't have a problem with functional adults who smoke, but people who smoke weed under the age of 30 tend to be brainless morons.

I like it sometimes, but I've accidentally knocked over my sisters' bongs onto the carpet far too many times to advocate its frequent use.
It also killed my sister's boyfriend's father - he smoked weed every day for about 30-40 years then dropped dead of a cancer that took over his whole body within a matter of weeks. Its effects on pre-existing mental illness are also rather scary.

Not to mention the birth defect that the father can pass onto his kid.

I've smoked maybe about 10 times in my life. It's reaaaaally boring to me. I have no problem with people who smoke regularly, in fact a lot of my friends do and they are just fine.
What's slightly funny is a lot of people tell me I should smoke because I'm too wound up and stressed out all the time. I also know that smoking would help me when my shoulder acts up. However, it would be a temporary solution and pointless.
