Here I try to discuss this with you reasonably and you respond with a troll-worthy statement like that. I didn't say everyone except myself. I did say I think that the more available we make guns, the more idiots would have guns. Not the same thing.

And in fact, it's a logical deduction. For any group of humans, x% are idiots. If we expand the subset of humans who have access to guns, then that x% becomes a larger number. I've not said what that percentage is, but did mention my doubts about the vast majority of humans qualifying as "fairly intellegent." So don't smear me with your "everyone except for yourself is a moron" brush.

as both a native atlantian and as someone who will be staying a month in the mid west of mexico (leon to be a bit more specific) i am getting a little scared shitless. As much as it pains every fiber of my being to say so, i minutly agree with deadmans point that people should not be idle sheep waiting for the slaughter. also in no way do i advocate massive gun use on any scale. personal tasers or any less lethal weapons like mace or rubber composite bullets are alternatives for maintaining ones saftey in the event of an unavoidable violence without the mess of paper work or being "in the wrong" alan keep your head down your eyes on the books and your ass wrapped in kevlar, you'll make it out soon enough
