Weird quirks about yourself?
Well, what are they?
I HAVE to sleep with my window open...no matter how cold it is.

I can't sit in a chair or a couch normally for any length of time.
No matter what the conversation, I somehow slip in a music reference.
I also pace when I'm thinking hard or, when I don't have Betsy nearby, I play air guitar. (oh yeah, I've named my guitar Betsy and my bass Izumi McCartney).

If I have a pen, I have to draw on things.

I always have to sleep with the door open and a light shining through into my bedroom.
I have to take the dishes out of the dishwasher a certian way, put them away in a certain way and then put dishes back in the dishwasher a certain way.
If I become extermly paraniod or depressed I have to start chewing on my nails or the skin around my nails.
I have to sleep right next to a wall if the bed is up against the wall.
I never sleep over a friends houses because I never fall asleep because I am afraid to and I am too embarrased to fall asleep.
I never hold sleep overs at my house anymore as well for the same reasons.

I'm incapable of sleeping, unless I have some sort of small noise that I can hear. (I find silence deafening)
I chew on the ends of my hair when I'm thinking deeply.
I either bake or clean when I'm upset over something.
I have to look at my feet when I'm walking.
I cannot turn in an assignment without having doodles on it.

I talk out loud when I'm alone - as if I'm having a conversation with myself. And I talk to my computer and other inanimate things.

Same here, my friend, same here.
I talk to my dogs... as though they were people, I swear that they understand me more than other human beings.

I babble to my horses.. in French.
I have more panic attacks if I wear colorful clothing.
I don't like to wash my clothes often. Only when they looks dirty/start to smell like the barn.

I do that and on the occasions when I'm stressed and alone I speak either in riddle or in poems or both (if only I had somthing to record them with). It's also one of the rare situations where I don't stumble over my words.

I have a tendency to ramble about random things when I am really tired.. ask Justin. I am a total idiot when I am half-asleep and having a conversation with someone.
I also tend to blurt out whatever pops into my head.

Talk to myself, pace a lot... I don't like being still unless I'm in bed and sleepy. I twitch, fidget, make gestures- anything as long as I'm not still.
I have a habit of running my nails around the edge of my lips when thinking, outlining them.
In a bad, muttering mood I'll slip into languages which don't exist and swear in words that aren't real. I'm not sure what a 'kreschlaach' is, but I know it's an offensive thing to call anything or anyone.

I can sit still but standing still is difficult for me so I usualy pace or sit down instead of standing. As well as speaking jibberish but I can't remember the situation that brings that on. Oddly enough '"kresch"laach' are letters in correct order (except for a t missing inbetween e and s) the first 2/3s of my last name. If you really want to know my last name simply look up the top upboat captain of WW2, I'm not worried as much anymore about giving info like that away since I'm an adult now.

Meth, you have too many messages and cannot accept any more.
I fail at geek, I have no idea who Renatus shares his last name with.

C ertain . Sorry it was bugging me.
I shake/fiddle with my fringe a lot.
I flinch if someone goes to touch me.
I have a nervous cough that seems to get ten time worse when I travel on a bus
I mouth the words to songs when listening to my MP3 player, I also mouth the words to conversations I am having in my head.
I have to always touch a particular branch of a weeping willow near my house, that I walk past every day on the way home. I also say hello to it.
I have to arrange all my crystals by type. All Quartzes together, all rocks found on the beach together, all Hematite together ect..
I talk to the dog like a human being, she responds like one. I mean she actually understands that I am taking the piss out of her and "shouts" at me for it.
I talk to birds. I also imitate bird calls, and not always when there are birds in the vicinity. I do great seagull, blackbird and goose impressions.

I don't just mean when trying to be cute. I mean frequently, often accidentally. I don't even realise I do it.

Another quirk about myself--
When calling to say "Goodnight" to my boyfriend, I HAVE to say "I love you" first before I hang up with him. I don't think he has noticed that in the past 16 months I've been with him.

How is ANY of that weird?!
Del.. I mew at people constantly. It drives my mom crazy, and I don't even do it consciously. My initials are KAT, though

When I'm really happy, I rub my face with both of my hands, in a way that may make you wonder if I was borderline MR. I don't really realize I do it, when I do, I do my best to contain myself.

I can purr and growl. I have really really incensed the dog by growling and baring my teeth before. And she does it right back. It seems I can do it all too well as she has nearly gone for me before, but I always " change back " so she sees I don't really mean it. Then she shouts at me again
