Or you could wear this and refuse to cover up the word Shit when in the presence of eight year olds because you're so hardcore.

either one. Both would be nice too.

but you know... both tees are still considered 'saying' that you're one.

I'm aware, which s why I would like a shirt that says "I'm not a goth, I'm just a well-dressed ninja."

OP, you'd better take this shirt instead:

Your spelling and self-conscious whining has confused the people around you.

BTW, most eight year olds dont know what shit means, so it really doesnt matter. Its like those people who rally against license plates that say "XXX", like people who dont know what it means care.

I like the shirt.

You obviously know a lot of very innocent eight year olds, or maybe the ones that I know are just too well informed. Still, there are places where wearing curse words on a shirt aren't appropriate, no matter what "free expression" nonsense one tosses around to defend themselves.

I like it as a joke, but I personally wouldn't wear it.

Just act depressed and whine about everything. Don't forget to listen to cradle of filth or mary manson.

stand next to a boatload of wiggers and jocks wearing all black and it's like, automatic. n'est pas?

seriously, i have actually said the words 'i am NOT goth' when this guy was partially joking and saying 'you are SO goth!' about every new tidbit he found out about me - the screwy part is his ex girl was a power goth, so my being this corporate casual goth type... whatever, i was irked to say the least.

but then, she was also goth for looks or whatever (my words are broken today) and not so goth in her gothy goth-soul of souls.

further, i am opposed to the cruelty towards bats that that shirt promotes. and the rampant hot topicness of it too.

kind regards,

lydia

Why would you want people to know you are "A member of a Germanic people who invaded the Roman Empire in the early centuries (3rd to 5th) of the Christian era."

I would prefer a thread titled "How to get people to NOT know you're a goth when you own an entire wardrobe of Siouxsie t-shirts, run a goth night and can't seem to lay off the black eye makeup". It's something I really need some assistance with.

Oh that's easy, just buy a dress from forever21, curl your hair, and cut off from the heavy makeup. I do that everyday for work.

hahahaha i had to google forever21. wow. another one. where do they grow these shops?

i want a thread similar, cicero. or one devoted to people say 'But i thought you were goth?' when you wear an oatmeal mock turtleneck or decide you want to wear taupe as opposed to black eyeliner for an interview.

Seriously. I always used to wear high quality natural colored wigs and clean-looking make-up when I worked in the food industry (except nights, I got to look like a baddass then because my primary job was to eject drunken college freshmen onto the street). Now I'm a personal assistant for a woman with MS, and she's really cool and likes the way I dress, so I've been lucky that way lately.

It'd just be nice to dress how I like without people trying to slap a label on it.

At least in the line of work I'm headed for it won't matter whether or not I look associated with the dreaded G-word since the people I'll primarily be working with won't have eyes anymore.

i honestly don't care if people like what i wear .
i had the usual ass hole shouting all kind of stupid shit.
it doesn't bother me,i rise above that.
i don't have time for people who think the sunshine come out of their asses.
it's my own choice to dress and be the way i'm.If they don't like it they can fuck off or look the other way.

Buy a billboard in your town with your face on it and in HUGE letters crudely paint "GOTH!" on it.

Then EVERYONE! will know!
