F**K the Botz...
Alright, this shit is really starting to chap my already raw hide, the fuckin' bot invasion has reached a point of utter ridiculousness....apparently Gothic.net admin bitch could give a shit so we'll have to handle this shit ourselves...
STOP POSTING IN THE BOT THREADS!!! Everytime you do it bumps our relevent threads south...view it to move it from the top of your list but posting encourages others to post in it and feeding it is useless.
Send EVERY bot thread to the admin, if we annoy the shit out of them, maybe they'll slide their asses off the couch and actually fix the problem?!

Aye... I give big support for this, Sanctus... It only makes sense...
Um.. I guess a little clarification of what a bot is might not go astray:
For those of you who may not be familiar with "bots" - A bot can be a little difficult to recognise because it posts in "human" language, but it's really just a programme that is spewing out posts. A bot will generally post an irrelevant thread with a link to some irrelevant site. It's just another form of advertising spam.

Not at all... I only learned about them a few years ago on IRC... and I just thought that maybe people reply to them because they are not aware that they are automated...
In fact, I'm not sure how helpful the wiki article is, but it's kind of a starting point  ...
Anyway... Yeah! Bots suck!
They should implement a "character recognition" step in the sign-up process here - you know, the way you have to make out an image containing blurry text and retype what you see correctly before you can continue signing up... That would filter out the bots...
But that's administration... so that'll never feckin' happen on this site...

Having been a telemarketer once, I have instant commericialization recognition. Bots use the same sort of marketing phrasology to sound polite and so on as to attract people.
I still remember my first pop-up expierience. The instant I saw it and it's incredibly poor graphics and use of loud colors, I knew it for was it was, though not quite how it worked.
Alot of advertisers simply have no shame, ethics, or sense of what is bad taste.

Bots in Counter-Strike make no sense.
They can be miles away fire a single shot and hit you smack in the head or they're standing directly infront of you with a shotgun and can't hit a thing, where's the logic people?
