Greetings to you all, (leave your labelling at home)
I shall just repost the question list and answer them as briefly as I can.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm currently still in highschool, I study mostly literature and interior/clothing design, I'm a writter and vocal singer in a punk band ( with several ska influences ), and the list goes on.
2. Where are you from?
Ironically, especially for a Goth community, I reside in Romania. No, not in Transilvania, haha, in Crisana.
3. Who is your favorite author?
O. Paler
4. What are your favorite films?
Far too many to mention. I enjoy (fantasy, experimental, animation, adventure, documentary genres ) of the art cinema.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Awkward question! Perhaps some irish folk, celtic punk, orchestral/instrumental, (...)
6. At your funeral?
Funeral doom metal, haha. No. I would preffer no music, but to be at the right time of the year when the birds begin their singing.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Goth is not only about death, that is overration. But, still, I'd like to die.. peacefully.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Glass, wood, silver, white, black.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Anything feminine, such as dresses, skirts, corsets, (...).
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
That innocent curiosity for life.
11. What's your favorite band?
As I've responded to the film section, too many to mention! Sorry!
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Will finnish highschool soon and next study at a college.
13. Why did you join?
For no main reason whatsoever.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

Bun venit!!! As soon as I read that you live in Romania... I stayed there for a month... mostly in Oradea and Brasov... Regardless I love the antiquity of the country and kindness of the people.
Anyways Îţi doresc!

Welcome to Gnet.
If you don't have a singular favorite band, perhaps you could share what you find yourself listening to a lot lately..?

Nice to meet you! (I'm new here, too)
You're from Romania? That is very cool, I'd love to visit your country someday! Your language is pretty, too.

Merci, merci beaucoup.
lady_cthulhu, I've read your thread as well and it's got to my attention that you mostly write horror novels
and besides do illustrations.
Have you published any of your books? If so, could you post anything or send a link so I can take a peek?
The easiest way to visit Romania is by deciding to go to a concert here. I'm currently quite eager to see The Sisters of Mercy.

I think my favorite part about Romania was all the amazing old buildings. I also really liked going to Băile Felix, all the lilies there are beautiful!

Hi Kitteehcat,
I do have one book out right now, you can find it here:
http://www.amazon.com/Light-Against-...8600452&sr=8-1
Sisters of Mercy? Classic band, I imagine they'll put on an awesome show. You'll have to let us know how it goes! I'd love to write a story set in Romania someday, but won't be able to do that until I've experienced the place for myself.
vindicatedxjin - I see you've been there too; so lucky! That picture you posted is beautiful, it's so vivid I can almost smell all the green plants and water.

Oh, I can imagine. I live in the desert, so I know what it's like to long for a beautiful, green place.

Bran... another favorite place
\\Kitteh, you are so lucky. But I suppose the grass is always greener right? So many of the Romanians I met always said that "I" was lucky to live in the US... us humans are never happy.//

vindicatedxjin, may I ask what brought you to Romania? Vacation or perhaps
some relatives?
Baile Felix is a lovely resort indeed, especially in the summer, when the season
is at it's peak. I usually go to the monasteries there, usually in the week-ends, it's quite close to Oradea, only a few
km and because of that - distance is no problem.
The pictures you've taken are beautiful, I see that you might have enjoyed a good weather.
As for people not being pleased with where they live, it's just the most common issue someone
could come across as I suppose it's just the human crave for change.
lady_cthulhu, congratulations on your book, I shall take a look, most certainly!
And this picture was taken in a village, Sambata de Sus. What happens there is that
if you're a kind and respectful person and you have a problem finding a place to stay for a night,
you can be taken as a guest to a monastery and you can eat and pray with the priests and nuns.
It is a wonderful experience.

I went there for a one month trip of volunteering at an orphanage for two weeks, and then travel for the rest of the trip.
We visited the castles bran and tepes, villages, etc. I absolutely fell in love with the place so much that I actually considered moving there. The pictures I just posted weren't mine, but I do have some that I took myself. And yes the summers there are so perfect, unlike here in Texas the mornings are perfectly cool and you can sleep with the window open without having to have any central air. <3
The view I got to wake up to every morning...

vindicatedxjin, you've visited Sighisoara and the medieval town! Yes, those places are
quiet, peaceful and speak of long, forgotten times.
Congratulations on your trip, may you have many more of those across the world!
Razeal18, a sniper shooting greek fire grenades would be acceptable.

Please stop using that tiny font in italics. It's too hard to read ... I really haven't tried to read any of your comments because it's hard to see and hurts my eyes.
Plus, you establish a unique character here by what your words say, not what they look like.

I totally agree, Ben.
I've been taking the effort to copy + paste into plain text, but just for this intro thread. All others I'll probably ignore the PITA font usage
