Dogmatic is probably not the right term. More like whiny. Having been killed in a nasty way doesn't make you more worthy of respect than anybody else, and those aren't even the people we're talking about here. These are just the descendants of those people.
If they want to say that it's "disrespectful" (cue ominous music), then the line should be that it's disrespectful in general. It has nothing to do with the Holocaust specifically.

Read the actual article, its an organization of Holocaust survivors, not the descendants of Holocaust survivors.

He said that it doesn't matter because its the descendants who are doing the whining, when its actually a society of Holocaust survivors, specifically Ernest Michel who survived Auschwitz and lost his parents and seeks that their memory be honored and wishes that people wouldn't go back on their word.

Back onto the topic of how wrong you are, please. Try to be objective. If you want to go down the route you're on I can say that you yourself are not a descendant of holocaust victims so you have no ground to speak for them.
