Hahahahahahaha....we had one male friend of a friend show up at the last knitting meetup, and while he's still a little rusty with the needles, he did ultimately choose hanging out with a group of girls over karaoke. Maybe you can join a knitting, or a stitch and bitch group in your area and eventually make yourself a skull or bat sweater as well as meet women?
In all seriousness, it is a really good female bonding experience.

Yeah, but if I was forced to choose between knitting and karaoke (and I'm just speaking for me here) ... I'd take the knitting needles ... and stab myself.

Even if surrounded by women?....you must sing a mean karaoke rendition of "Dashboard Light" or whatever the karaoke favorite song is in your area.

I wish we had a Stitch And Bitch group here, the only knitting meet ups that happen (and they are very rare) you go there and you realize you're the only one under sixty XD

All I meant to say was I get along better with guys because most females either find me disgusting or bitchy.

I more or less meant to say that years and years ago, I too had gotten along better with guys due to my female roommates among others found me a little strange, in some cases too strange. I later start finding a little more acceptance and other girls like me in knitting groups.
Actually, Carrion, you sound like someone that would have made my female friend list back then as well as now. Hell, if you're another whiskey drinker, you get automatic cool points
