Where the fuck do these people come from? Did we get Punk'd by Google where they inserted a bunch of right-wing whack job search strings into the gnet profile or something?

Adam Smith's views and theories died about the same time he did. His ideas about economy only applied to the economy he was living in.
Todays economy is a whole different ballgame. Trying to setup a protectionist economy in a world market is nothing short of futile, not to mention impossible.
There is no more paper currency, everything is done on a world scale with electronic transfers. You can't hoard wealth in the ways he suggested, and even trying to do so will cripple your economy today anyway due to the need for imports.
Since America is the worlds largest importer, it makes no sense at all for say America to try and break ties with other countries.
So in a nutshell, Adam Smith is an irrelevant dinosaur whose contribution to history was noted but no longer serves any relevant purpose.

If you can prove this to me, Sternn, I will cut my balls off, wear them as ear-rings, and post the pictures here.
I'm fucking serious.

Woo Hoo Adam Smith, the Father of Economics. I have heard of him. Not sure how many quotes I remember spontaneously, but his work is all over modern economics.

Stern, KMD has offered to cut off his balls. We NEED to make this happen. Now for the love of God gather together that pudgy faux-irish bag of crazy you call a body and post your degree so that we can ensure Kiss Me Deadly will never breed.
I cannot do this, JCC cannot do this. This task was appointed to you, and if you do not find a way, no one will.
DO IT STERN. DESTINY CALLS: TAKE IT -IT'S YOURS!

I don't see it. I just see you holding guns and acting like a jackass.
Can you link the individual picture? I mean Deadly may cripple himself for life here, THIS IS IMPORTANT.

Hey Desp, I noticed you're connected with the Appalachian trail. I have walked that trail...at least a dozen times. Do you reside in Tennessee?

I live in New York City, but yeah, I've walked the entire Appalachian Trail, Maine to Georgia.
The TN/NC section is one of my favorites though.
What parts have you been on?

Once, the entire trail. It was pretty awesome. Me and some buddys had quite the adventure. Oregon Trail style. With less oregon and bobcats.
I regularly walk on the small section that goes through my city/the outskirts though. I start at Sycamore Shoals in Elizabethton and just loop around. It's a nice walk and I'm a fatty fat fat fat so I need the excersize. I've been seeing more and more litter over the years though, and that's a damn shame. It really takes away from the old world feel when you see a Pizza Hut box stuck in a tree.
edit: That's Elizabethton, Tennessee.
