My name is Amanda and I love you.
Hello everyone I'm Amanda.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
"I like not being dead. Everything else is just icing on the cake. My undead cake of livingness." Just kidding. Writing, reading, listening to music, taking pictures, comic books, anime, manga, going to college, dancing around like a fool, watching my friends babies get bigger, and my lover.
2. Where are you from?
Funky downtown Woodbridge, Virginia. Where I reside to this very day.
3. Who is your favorite author?
That is such a terribly difficult question to answer. I could list sit here for hours and type a list a hundred pages long. Rice, Poppy Z., Neil Gaiman, and Jhonen Vasquez, of course are gods. There are too many others to name them all at this ungodly hour.
4. What are your favorite films?
Also too many to name.. Pulp fiction, Rushmore, Interview with the Vampire, the lost skeleton of cadavera is absolutely mindbogglingly amazing. If I had more sleep and less caffeine I'd tell you more
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
"Somewhere over the sea somewhere waiting for me my lover stands on golden sands..."
6. At your funeral?
Honestly.. at neatrly Five O'Clock in the am.. it seems apropriot to play the same song for both occasions.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Screaming.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
My father's casket was silver. Maybe one to match his. Or maybe a dark wood shiny with varnish. That sounds pretty. Something that looks warm.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Right now? Mary jane shoes with skinny jeans and a white dress shirt under my somewhat slightly deconstructed despair faction shirt. That or all white which I tend to wear most of the time.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I probably act more like a child now than I did as a child. Growing up is a painfull ordeal. Children are mean and nasty to eachother. There are good parts I suppose but I much prefer my life now to how it was 10 years ago. I think all I miss is my father.
11. What's your favorite band?
It's cliche but I won't lie. A.F.I. (ooh I rhymed) New album out this Spring! That means touring this summer! and Placebo is a close second.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I graduated from high school last september and I'm attending community college. I don't have a major yet i just want anything to do with writing. I'd like to say something more interesting but I'll probably be an English major.
13. Why did you join?
I'm not sure.

Woodbridge, the shopping mecca of NoVa!
In the global scope of gothic.net, I'm your neighbor - I live in Arlington. Howdy, neighbor.

You own a DF shirt and two of your favourite bands are AFI and Placebo. Yay!
Less than a week until Placebo is out in the open. But AFI are taking too damn long....

I'm embarassed to say that I made the mistake of forgetting that Ms.Brite didn't write anything in the two 'Love In Vein' anthologies.
I was actually st00p33d enough to write something along the lines of "I loved your stories in the Love In Vein books." When she was posting here.
She probably rolled her eyes at the screen and called me an idiot.

Seriously!? I would have screamed. Then I'd have checked them both out forever and never shown my face in that library again.

Thank you all so very, very, very, very, much for making me feel so very welcome!
Cicero, what's this about Placebo? I've been so excited about "Rabbits are Roadkill" I've neglected to keep up with other bands. I'm going to check their website right now.
Thank you edible_eye, yes it's very lovely in the Fall around Halloween.
I think if I'd been a member when the lovely and wonderfull Ms. Brite was posting here I would've been far too awestruck to even attempt saying anything at all to her.
Everyone here is indeed amazingly friendly and thank you all again.
