Show me what you've DIY-ED recently :)

I love DIY-ing T shirts and crafting jewellery.

I recently altered two t shirts and I'd made such a HUGE range of goth orientated chokers and matching earrings in gemstone and crystal I opened a shop on ebay for them here -> http://stores.ebay.co.uk/LunarraStar-Jewellery

I am in love with my Amethyst pendant and earrings .

If you've made anything recently I'd love to see it <3

Also that threads not been written in for 5 months? I thought its general board policy not to resurrect really old threads or i wouldve looked harder.

I must obviously have been wrong in thinking that though?

I don't have pictures, but I've made a tutu with a big dark red satin bow in the back, which I gave to Badteccy, a floor length petticoat, many skirts, tank tops, lace mourning veil, black beaded parasol with fringe (unfinished) and some other shiz.

I have lace on EVERYTHING
pants, shirts, dresses, randomly on my pleather jacket.

Any ideas? preferably something simple.

GC, I really like your dress. Is that just a t-shirt dress? I've wanted to make one of those for a while now.

I made this with some iron-on foil images from Jo Ann fabric's. It's actually really great stuff. They just need to make it in plain sheets so you can cut out your own designs.

Made this gorgeous circle skirt out of some silvery velvet with black floral pattern. It falls at midcalf. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a90...diel/003-1.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a90/KyanAdiel/004.jpg

This was my first real sewing project, I had a lot of help from my grandmother's neighbor who taught me how to sew years ago. Black velvet layered with lace, it's my favorite skirt.

A halloween costume I'm working on for someone. Not quite finished, still need to line part of the inside and attach the hood.

Bondage shorts I made for the boyfriend. He's worn them a lot so some of the studs have fallen off.

I've been sewing for around 8 years now, and I've gotten pretty good at it. My next project is going to be a replica of the vest Johnny Depp wears in the upcoming Sweneey Todd movie for one of my friends. http://www.ohjohnny.net/sweeney/sweeney0006.jpg

What's a t shirt dress? No this is a perfectly self fitted shiny velvet (from Russia may I add) dress with lacing. It is definitely NOT a t shirt dress.
But thank you.
here you can see it better (ish)

Oh man, Johnny Depp looks so steampunk-ish there, now I want to see that movie for sure.

kwaniesiam, I am impressed with your creations here also knowing that you have 8 yrs sewing experience and not afraid to try anything either.

Do put up more pics of future projects, I would like to see them.

A t-shirt dress is just like an overly long, fitted shirt. Sorry for the mixup GC, I don't have the best of monitors. Thankyou, DarkGentleman ^_^ I'll definitely post some pictures once I actually start working on that vest. Shouldn't be that hard, just a double breasted vest with funky seams and misplaces buttons. I still need a decent pic of the back, not sure what kind of cincher is supposed to be there. I really hate that white streak in Mr. Depp's hair though. It's too fake and makes him look like a skunk.

I absolutely love your velvet skirt your gran helped you with . The sections of lace hang so well, that would be my favourite skirt too.

The Halloween costume looks great too!

I think Johnnys hair looks a bit fake but he'd look sexy wth any hair *drool*
