Since all I ever do on here is argue with people over mostly pointless shit, and it has really started to drag me down, I decided to go out and do something of at least some positive value to all the people at Gothic.net.
I took a bunch of photos of a Japanese graveyard in the town in which I was living until recently. I had to use my cell phone, so they are not what you might call professional quality, but now that I'm finally getting around to looking at them on my machine, they don't look too bad.
This is in Koganei-shi, in the western part of Tokyo. The town is situated such that it straddles a pronounced slope in the terrain. According to a local store owner from whom I bought most of my booze, and whose family has lived in the area for ages, the flat at the top of the slope was the domain of one clan and the flat at the bottom of the slope was the domain of another. I can't remember which clans, but I want to say Hojo and Ikeda.
Anyway, like most humans, they enjoyed nothing quite so much as killing the fuck out of each other, so the whole area is covered in graveyards, and you can find some very old gravestones hanging around. A few of them show up in my photos.

Enjoy.
