You should really try it though (if you can find one :P) they're really fun, and are an odd contrast from piano and keyboard.

Bass is what I play the best and what people (my friends, I guess) know me for when it comes to instruments. I play occasional guitar (horribly) and whatever weirdo/exotic/found/experimental instruments I can get my hands on.

I don't have a grand piano, but I do have a beautiful upright piano my grandmother gave me.

I desperately need to get it tuned. I'm still saving up for someone to do it.

I've played the clarinet for 15 years, and I've been teaching myself how to play piano...it's a work in progress.

I play acoustic guitar and a little bit piano (and melodica...). I'm better at writing music than actually playing it. Yay for GuitarPro! ^^

I played clarinet in school for about three years in school, and stopped once I got to high school for the fact that the director was fairly well known as an extreme ass and I got a call the night before summer practice to say I had to be at the school at 8:00 AM. I quickly had my schedule switched to PE. I loved concert band though.

For a while I played really bad guitar, and then just switched to loudly singing my favorite songs instead of trying to play them I do want a keyboard though.

I'm a multi instrumentalist... I can't stop stealing other people's instruments, haha. This means that over the course of 21 years I have played most instruments found in a marching band, symphony orchestra and a rock band.
Usually I narrow down my list to a few instruments that I can manage very or fairly well, like (excepting the voice as an instrument for this occasion) the concert flute (played it for about 14 years), piccolo flute, tin whistle, soprano recorder, pan flute and various other flute/ whistle type of thingies, ukulele, guitar, electric bass (well, not that well... but even so :P), classical piano, keyboard, electric organ, laptop (hah - the University here reckons it to be an instrument if used to make music with, so there ), kazoo and combs (lol).
I've tried hard to get the hang of the strings department, but strings don't seem to like me as much as the woodwinds do, unfortunately.

I am learning to play guitar.
There was an Ibanez RG320 FM for $200 at a pawnshop near me and I bought it.
I can't begin playing it because I am saving up for the Fender amp I want to buy at a music store.

In black, naturally.
I'd rather have the 5000/1 Deluxe 4-String Electric Bass, but I am not made of money. So the icon series will do.

I just stick with my fender standard jazz bass, because it's good for slap style, and it has a nice punch and treble ring to it
