All of this "no genre" stuff is bullshit, there would still be consistent genres and we would still follow them to try and get into more music that we know appeals to us, everybody would just pretend that this isn't the case by not giving any of them a name. If you took away the name 'punk', would the musical style suddenly disintegrate? No, there are still bands that share enough characteristics musically to be logically grouped. 'No genres' is infantile bullshit.
