I bought some socks from there. Does that warrant me getting destroyed? :O

I only ever went in there to buy a band t-shirt or two. That and some rings. They were having a 50% off sale that I couldn't pass up.

Usually I shop at salvation army or costco.

Same here, the only thing i've ever bought there was an iron maiden shirt and a sweeney todd shirt, and even then they were on the clearance rack.

I've bought shit from just about everywhere. Yes, that does include Hot Topic from when I was on holiday in Alaska a while back.

Wherever I can, usually whichever stores at the mall have sales, Suzy Sher and Fairweather are probably among my favourites, and of course La Senza for underwear and pjs. Oh and Our Pleasure when they have their corsets on sale.

We don't have a Hot Topic so I have no idea what the fuss is o.O

Seriously, you're trying way too hard.

I've gotten two pairs of skinny black stretch jeans from Hot Topic for cheap and recently bought a pair of pleather pants for $20 from there. Hot Topic has some good shit, just head for clearance and you'll be set.

We don't have Hot Topic here so I don't even have that option. I either get my clothes from the charity shops, Zeemann ( cheap clothes ).Or I get some things at Tante Guerilla. Band shirts I either DIY or I order them off the internet.

Not everything at Hot topic is shit. It's the only place I can get black and white striped tights.

Pretty much all my stuff comes from Goodwill.

Make 'em up.

Making costume is way harder than clothes, though.

Buying clothes is not my concerns.

Hot Topic has the occasional band t shirt I'll get. Sometimes they have Bauhaus or Joy Division shirts on clearance or something.

I get blank t-shirts and fabric paint from Wal-Mart and make band t-shirts myself usually.

When I resort to the internets for something I want/have the fucking money for, I usually pay a visit to Angry Young and Poor. The shop itself is located not too far from where I live so whenever that comes up, I'll go.

target, kohls, or value village (an awesome little thrift store). Actually, everything I am wearing right now it from target. I had a guy compliment me on it a few weeks ago when I was wearing the same outfit that I have on now and when I said target he kinda gave me a disgusted look. What? I can buy stuff there super cheap and make it me. I don't like dropping loads of money on clothes.

That is wear I buy my jeans. They usually are the only place with my size. I don't like too much there though, as it seems to fall apart kinda fast.

We don't have a hot topic here (UK)
But we have stores that sell the same stuff.
With the addition of unofficial band shirts and some other pretty sweet stuff.

I've bought a couple of stretch jeans from these shops and they're damn comfy.
Criminal Damage may sell mostly utter shit, but their stretch jeans are amazing.
And they do them in my size which is hard to get decent jeans in.

Other than that I shop at Primark for plain jeans/shirts and paint/bleach them.
I made a pretty decent Cinema Strange vest last night.

Target gets some cool stuff some times, they look real cool when you can desicrate the prints or rip some extra holes...

I found a neat little pair of pin-striped shorts (its tough to be goth when it's near 100 degrees and 100% humidity all the time) from a brand called Utility... I bought four of them.

I get a lot of my clothes from this little independant store called Fine Threads, they do some really cool stuff and a lot of the time they have the same clothes as in Hot Topic, only a lot cheaper. Other than that, I get basics (like black skinnies) from Primark and other cheap stores and everything else from thrift stores or online.

I don't even HAVE an HT in my contry.
That's why I have two choices, a. independent shopping, a shirt from here, a skirt from there, b. design in myself anf let a tailor make it for me.

Both are two shitty choices, but I can't do anything about it!

You are about to be Destroyed...

First, Get a spell/grammer checker, you seem to have the intellegence of a 3rd Grader.

Secondly, you mainly shop at Hot Topic? I understand they have some decent stuff, but do you realize how expensive that crap is? and it's all cheaply made. I don't think you've been "goth" long enough for it to fall apart (which isn't that long).

Thirdly, Please die...

Sanguine pull the rod out, it's his choice where he shops and all that jazz, him making stupid decisions as a buyer (based on quality and price) does not warrant death, just a wake-up call unless he is already aware of such things.

As for me, if it looks good and is cheap I don't care where I get it from which mainly includes:

Target, K-Mart, Big W, Myers, Dangerfield, Planet 13, Victorian Gothic...

though Vic Goth and Dangerfield are rarely cheap and Planet 13's t-shirts fit my torso but they are too short =/

All over the place, really, I've never seen a Hot Topic store in my life,( I don't think there are any in Australia), I've been shopping a lot on ebay lately.
