Amanda Woodward - Le Temps du Deuil
Unlike the Melrose Place character from which this band has their name, these guys are fortunately more focused on making good music than intrigue and emotional scenes. Well, maybe not so different on the latter point... This is a screamo band, after all. Less musically harsh than most of the other French post-hardcore acts, but still really, really good.

While I was leafing through the old pages in this thread, I came across Loy posting some nice Magnetic Fields lyrics, and it inspired me to dig out the "69 Love Songs" album. This is from disc 3 of that mammoth project. Lots of great (and weird) songs.
