Limited?
Just a line, I would like your thoughts and comments:
If your limits are limited, are you, then, limited?

It makes no sense at all. Limits are limited by definition.

That's a very profound question...for someone who's high.

How do you limit someone else's limits? Depending on the person that could make them feel less capable and not strive for much or it would give them incentive to prove you wrong and go beyond what you previously thought they could do.

Pastamancer, I agree with you. It is hard to limit someone's limits(after they reach 18 :P )

What makes someone limited is, obviously, their limits. If you limit their limits, limits still exist, so, by definition, the person is still limited.

Yeah I'm not seeing this as something profound, it is a pretty straightforward "yes"

I can think of several ways: Throw them in jail, cut off their legs, sever their arteries, etc.

It's one of those lines that people think are really profound, but are pretty stupid when you think about them.

Yeah I think the answer to this one is a straightforward "yes".

Reminds me of the stoner logic I used to determine that everything that we know about science that is based on the speed of light is fundamentally flawed based on the fact that the speed of light is not a constant.
Of course, when I got sober, I realized that I was completely wrong, but it seemed like a huge break-through at the time. And the zebra cakes were delicious, too.

Haha :P Brilliant :P
Well, drunken logic can be quite interresting. A guy I know once said, that we should all be dwarves, because then the ceilling would be too low, then we could put sponge rubber on it in order to hunt salmon in it.
That's some really strange drunken logic, but fun nonetheless :P

Limits are boring. I tend not to dwell on boring things.
