A Willing-to-learn Goth
It's a Hardcore Punk rock group that formed in the mind-1980s, If I Recall Correctly. So actually, it would have very little influance on the post-punk rock that became Goth, however it is a related genre.
I have a feeling that their name was based more on a parody on the Nazi Stormtroopers (or any Lightening troops for that matter) than the Imperial Stormtroopers of the First Galactic Empire.

not hardcore punk, crossover. a combination of thrash metal and hardcore. scott ian from anthrax and billy milano from the psychos was in it.
good fucking band, but D.R.I. will reign supreme forever.
